23.328.000.this is how much you can train in one year assuming you have + 5 implants, and remapped for example, maximum perception willpower.

it takes roughly 19-20 years,to reach the limit of clone upgrade of 450m skillpoints.and the ammount of skills goes beyond 450m.

so lets say 20 years,to reach skill perfection with a character in eve online.sounds a bit like much?

It doesn't sound enough. CCP need to add some more skills in to make sure that nobody "maxes out".

It would be a bit much if you needed anywhere near that to be productive in the game. Since you can be productive hours into the game, having fun doing stuff, it doesn't seem that bad to me.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

first of all,you need to understand that nothing lasts forever.lets say you wasted 20 years of paying an account to be active to skill for it and play it in the same time, and suddenly, and no offence ccp or anyone, but as i said before, nothing lasts forever, ccp might go bankrupt, eve goes bye bye.what you gonna do then thinking of all the time you have invested?

You mean like having a comic collection that gets washed away in a flood, a model boat in a bottle destroyed by a fire or an ant farm the kids put in the oven? All hobbies are time wasters, you know that going in. The amount of money or time spent doing it shouldn't matter, as that was the point. Did you enjoy your time doing it? Then it was worth it.

It would be a bit much if the goal was to reach level (enter current highest WOW level here).

I mean, if your goal in EVE is to max out, good luck! Personally I can say it has never been mine...

If Eve is just some kind of unpaid dayjob for you until you reach your final goal of beng maxed out, then maybe you should consider not playing at all and doing something you can actually enjoy instead.

You have completely gotten it wrong.

Whereas in WoW and the likes reaching the max level is most important for doing the good stuff (aka raiding),
in EVE you just learn skills so you can use or do what you want. There is no need to max the skills out.

Didn't they take out a loan to develop DUST?

I'm not saying that will do it, but there's a distinct possibility that sometime in the future CCP goes bankrupt. I mean, Iceland went bankrupt Blink

You do have 3 character slots per account... maxed one? Start on the next.

That said, I'm all for new skills in EVE, so long as they don't detract from any of the ones already here. Give us something new to specialize in.

I have to agree with this. It's more about enjoying the game for the sake of the game.

If you sit there and think "OMG I CAN'T FIRE MY LAZORS UNTIL I GET IT ALL TO LEVEL 5 !!!111!!!!" Then this game isn't for you.

Personally, i swear i suffer from some sort of OCD and i like to see my skills at 5, then go onto the next skill. I have plenty of accounts and i am in no rush. I love the journey that is EvE.

I am extremely happy that there is such a long time to possibly max out your character and I was actually saddened that they made it easier to get into the larger ships in the last patch. But CCP has to cater to the "instant bacon" types as well.

I didn't join this game because it was easy and i hope there never is a MAX, that way there is always something to aim for.

Actually the highest SP char has over 225 mill SP and it's Dr Caymus.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

There is no 'end-game' in EvE. It's not meant to have a WoW/EQ 'Lvl80'
