You mean like they've been doing for years?

Yeah but before they were advocating it ironically.

~hipster~

Of course, the whole system should be weighted so that the more territory you hold the more lucurative it can become (if developed), but at the same time become much, much more difficult to keep.

From the outside, it looked like there was a pretty high boatviolence:struktura op ratio as sov wars go, but I guess the rate was, as I said, unsustainable.

As any spy knows, CFC stealth bombers have been spotted shooting TEST SBUs and goodness knows what.

Boat wasn't FCing those though. Or he might be, he was prevented from broadcasting this weekend. Incoming leak:

(2:41:29 AM) directorbot: BOMBERS TACKLED ON UNDOCK IN B-D - FREE KILLS <3 - Op1 on mumble with something to kill bombers

*** This was a broadcast from dabigredboat to all-all at 2013-06-17 06:41:43.380570 EVE, replies are not monitored ***

Incidentally, I see that no one has thanked the CFC for providing this massive boost to the mining community Sad

Because the mining community hasn't forgotten Hulkageddon.

Never forgive,
never forget.

Revenge.

Also, reference in sig spotted. It matches a move from fighting to sovgrind strategies.

As a citizen in a country that has waged war against it's own industry, I can tell you now that you will be sorry. If the miners decided to strike back in the best way they could, NOT by padding someone elses killboards and trying to PVP, but by simply not mining for a while, they could do some considerable damage.

Even better they could just sit on the ore and see how much the nullsec alliances are willing to pay.

Of course nullsec alliances can mine their own by having their own miners.... oh wait.

Oh look, the game might actually be played the way it was intended.

(with PVP and not necessarily perfect the way nullsec overlords like it)

Hisec miners couldn't organize themselves out of a wet paper sack.

Much less form an ore cartel.

This and so much this!

Worst thing that could happen to this amalgamated circlej**k is to simply ignore them. Deny them everything! New players, numbers and attention.

Let them rot in their excrements and watch from a distance with a smile on your face.

Personally I hope that this gives us the new Great War that we've needed for years, but there's no way the current momentum can be maintained by either side - the subcap losses of both coalitions are staggering, and can't be sustained at that level. But neither side has had a decisive loss yet.

Frankly, I think this is already the next Great War, it's just that we're in the opening phases as of yet. Mark my words, this war will still be going on a year from now.

this is so good to see, that goons have overstepped and will prob cost them everything in the end. i also here we are moving to deklien as a new home. so thanks goons for screwing yourself so badly that the whole of eve is coming to remove you from the game.

My knowledge nullsec is pretty ******* pissy, but I was under the impression that back in the day Mittens was pushing for moon mineral nerfs in spite of goons holding them?

Roll Right - they are soo good at making CCP do what they want that the latest expansion removed their revenue moongoo stream and put it somewhere else. Yep, definitely controlling things.

Clearly CCP has switched allegiances.

Yeah, I realize I have as much chance of this as Scarlett Johansson hiring me as her personal masseuse.

I have looked at COAD. A cesspool of propaganda, and inside jokes.
I have looked at Dotlan, but that does not really give the full picture.
I won't even bother with goon's Pravda site, and EN 24 seems little better.
Same with Kugu and Failheap, which seems like monkey's throwing excrement at each other.

But does anyone have what they consider an up-to-date, impartial source of info on what is going on?
I have some friends in null giving me info, but that too will have some inherent bias.

Impartial? Here you go.

A large entity (CFC) seeks to gain some of the assets of a another large entity (TEST) by way of invasion.

It's really that simple, and has been a lot of fun for all involved.

I'm glad TEST and Goons are having fun sploding things. Content generation is the best.

Whoever gets evicted, ya'll are welcome to come crash on our highsec couch for awhile till you get a new home. Just blow up some miners and clean up CONCORD when yer done, kay?

7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided. --Eve New Player Guide

I really believe that CFC actually has the upper hand on this, mainly due to the fact that a big chunk of the opposition is mainly interested in having fun. SOV grinding is one of the most soul-crushing eve mechanics, and the CFC are in this for the long run. The current level of sub-cap fights and ops is unsustainable, and so is the attention span of some of the alliances involved in the fight.

Thus, I think that the much more coherent, monolithic, organized and space-rich CFC will outlast the looser clusterf@ck of separate entities in the game of attrition and TEST will be left in the end alone in this again.
