I do Mine/Ice Mine, but that is all for production. So I don't really see direct profit from that.

As long as you have a mining permit and follow the Code, mining ice can still be profitable. Remember to only mine what you need.


My alt eschews any codes & overmines AFK then makes ISKies selling KR's of New Orderers that occasionally gank it P

My main is an armour incursion runner.... makes ~60-100million iskies an hour( low end if I'm trainning newbie fleets a bit over the high end in VG MWD fleets & not including lp monies made)

Since this thread is going to be read by quite a few newbies, I thought it wise to point out some of the not so obvious (to new players) scams out there.

This "Code" business, and "Mining Permits" are good examples of EvE meta-gaming scams. The gist of it is that you are supposed to mine with a permit in highsec or the ebil piwates will gank your mining ship, or that there is some Code of Conduct with regards to mining ( LOL, sorry but that makes me laugh every damn time ).

These are just player made-up ideas to trick newbies into paying isk to the scammers.

The simple counter to these highsec scams is to find a different, and quieter, area of highsec to mine from where you wont be harassed by griefers .

Highsec is a big place(s), theres plenty of belts for all, so it is not difficult to find a nice area to mine.



Yea, funny enough, I usually am not mining in Hisec and thus, ignored most of that.. (Thanks for the +1 though Erotica 1). With the Ice Mining the way it is, have not been interested in the Ice race and am just buying the ICE from the race for my POS fuel.. Hate doing it, but every Ice patch I use is gone in less than 20 minutes (Hi-Sec or Null-Sec) from spawning. Then have to wait for 4 hours, which is usually not an option for me. Rocks are still working, and the moon mining will hopefully help in supplementing the Ice I'm no longer mining.

Is Mak Industries recruiting? You can surely find some people to do that mining for you. Not everyone can afford the Goon deposit.

mining, not a master in it yet, but with my retriever i can make for the plex in a single week, nonstop mining all day and semiAFK. but sometimes i do missions too.

I've never had a solid 1 thing I do to make isk, as such I am rather space poor. But recently I have tried exploration and so far have made a nice little bit from it. I'm considering stocking FW hubs with commonly used goods that are missing from the market there at a 30% markup.

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

1. Learn how to kill terrible highsec players.
2. Get good at killing them.
3. Make it public knowledge that you're good at kiling them.
