In my experince, of mining ice in low sec, what was mined was mostly consumed by the locals. There was a system a jump away that sort of poked into null, and there was some cap traffic, but other than that, nothing was exported to high sec.

I think it is pretty safe to say, for now at these price and risk levels, low sec ice is a non-factor.

LOL Mynnna would manipulate people on something like this?

How paranoid can people get...?

If and when Mynnna / corestwo manipulates he would never be this obvious or bad at timing and execution.

The issues brought up is FACTS.. The degree of references and actual physical evidence gathered and shared kinda speaks for itself..

Anyone that wants to keep disagreeing really need to come up with something beyond fingers in ears lalala-ing.

Seriously Proof or GTFO!

"Manipulate" implies guiding the market in a path it would not normally follow.

So, no, I'm not seeking to manipulate anything. P

Sheep and cattle follow the path right up the ramp and into the abattoir. It's quite convenient.

I think CCP announced the ice changes wayyyy too early in advance before the patch, giving too many people plenty of opportunity to stockpile - maybe they intended do this to lessen the price shock. Either way my wallet is not happy.

What happened to the old days when CCP just did whatever the heck they want, without giving any notice? Maybe they got scared of the lost profits when they implemented monacles?

Maybe not now but with 1k p/u....

Anyway i was a little bored and checked my old hunting grounds in Amarr lowsec space. There is a famous constellation in Aridia called Donut with Yiratal (0.1 sec) as main system with 4x LvL 4 agents. Back in the days there was always an alliance/corp farming the agents and now those guys could farm 3 ice belts within 2 jumps.
Traffic is abysmal in this constellation you can lock it down pretty easy only thing you have to worry is blops.

Just get a cloak on your Mack and have an eye on the local, you should be pretty safe from any blops if you aren't farming with 20 Macks at once and without cloak. Worst case you loose 1 or 2 Macks to a blop bridge with a stealth bomber as cyno and tackler.

In other words lowsec is safe if you know what you are doing, no bubbles and bombs to kill your whole mining fleet instantly.

Or check Yahyerer same thing as above 4x LvL 4 agents and 1 ice belt in system and 1 more 1 jump out. right now it could be a little dangerous as NC. is staging from Sakht but when anything is settled, it should be pretty nice there.

That would however be the normal market.

CCP just changed the rainfall pattern, so we are waiting for herds to redistribute, and that might force the closure of some abattoirs and the opening of new ones.

Weekends are always busier, but for what it's worth the "Can't Be Arsed" factor is rising steadily.

Irregardless of how they are filling the hours, some pilots are factoring in wasted time and choosing to mine ore rather than wait for a quick run at some ice.

It seems that whenever people leave ice mining for ores new people(or bots) replace them. Also Jita sales volume is still the same as it was before patch, which means I will say it again there's absolutely no shortage atm.Look the most popular fuel blocks crashing hard. These 170k p/u white glaze buy orders are also very fishy.Because other system prices are usually up to date with jitas orders but atm you will rarely find the same orders outside of jita.

I have 30-however many screenshots for you :)

I visited during 2 timezones, as stated, and in addition, there is a requirement for each and every high sec system to be emptied in 48 mins or less, to fulfil the 80%

Finally, 52 of the anoms were depleted (or whatever, I cannot access google docs atm)...so, the snapshot says "Are ALL ice anoms being emptied 5 * a day? No"

You are likely in one of the systems which I have stated is depleted.

For obvious reasons part of each screenshot is edited out (Player name).

Other than that, SS will be up when I return :)
