You whiners are pathetic crying about some bonus reward looses and plans to petition your downtime... People are doing their job to solve problems and these problems will always be so deal with it instead of posting worthless comments.

Hey Guys,

Whats the matter with you?? I have been playing EVE since 2004, and since that time, I have never seen a more consistent game on the internet, unless it was some simple role playing game with a limited possible number of players.

If you only had any idea what it takes to run a game as complex as this one, you would realize all the possibilities of equipment failure there are. The failure can be caused by a number of things. Since I have been playing eve they have updated and modified the game to keep it interesting. How many other games can you count that do that.

If you remember some time ago, there was a game called Beyond Earth by EA. As soon as that became popular, and was overloading the servers, they took the easy way out and shut it down.

But not CCP, they increased the number of connections and updated their system.

Are there any other good space games that can say that.?

Quit knocking the people who brought your favourite game to you. A day or two of not playing won't hurt you. If you don't like the idea, go find another game to play and leave the serious players to EVE.

Your doing a good Job CCP, don't let these people put you down.

i will use the time to jump in my dragoon and haul 2sixpack´s of some cheap beer from my wormwhole ;) lets do some real stuff^^like building a real boat! or even ship together°°to proove that internet is a way to future ;)

Creating artificial intelligence and drafting spacetime maps is not a game, its a job for the whole humanity.

Hope CCP fixes the issues soon :) Wonder why it seems to go down when its time for us AU players.. Coincidence or are the hampsters sleeping at this time? Might need to give em a boost of caffine to move that wheel,,

Of course, VIP-mode was necessary so Goons could move their stuff into place.

Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong. This is what it says whenever I try and login. it has been saying this since before the mass connection issues can anyone help explain what I need to do to fix the issue?

We're very sorry about TQ being unreachable at present for quite a few people. The server is still online, and hasn't been down at all, we're just working on resolving some login issues Smile

I've only been playing for a few weeks and I can't help but point out the class of some folks or maybe I should say the lack of class is unbelievable. I have met some great folks and downtime happens but using such colorful language makes you look like an ILLITERATE, UNEDUCATED FOOL. You know who you are.

On the other note I look forward to meeting some of you in the skies. Thanks for fixing the problem CCP.

hahahaha such a common issue xD keep your head up! eventually you'll find some one t hat can take it xD
or at least let you do your own thing ;)

I wanted to spend more time with my hubby....But since he works out on the road, and is only home a week or so here n there, I started playing EVE so we could connect more.

But on a serious note........There were very few issues with connectivity until they brought the new launcher online. They found out the very first day, when everyone was doing the downloads and updates that the servers could not handle the load, since everything is now routed thru one main login server for EVERYTHING EVE related. CCP needs to find a way to isolate that server from everything else.

I was out hiking all day, getting some sunlight and Vitamin D.

And you guys were waiting for a server on the intarwebz to come up so you could sit behind a keyboard in-doors... Twisted

Nuff said.

because the cost of an investigation would be more than the downtime, in a distributed denial of service most of the attack is coming from innocent people, they can try to do some reverse engineering of an executable, check a common place all the people involved in the attack are connecting too/etc, but the c&c server was probably set up and accessed via vpn and tor the entire way.

catching people is not easy.
