So you're saying we're less like a religious cult than most corps in Eve.

Every time you post a WiS thread, Hilmar strangles a kitten.

I ran with TNT for a good while, and as such, Goons were essentially my neighbors in Dek. And I am sorry, but aside from generally having fun, I have never seen a more helpful group to fly with. Yea, they are local spammers, gankers, and have perpetually declared war against high sec, but damn do they know how to have a good time.

Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

I like to start out every spring day with a good batch of cookies. A batch of cookies can be a way to bring the whole home together, both inside and out.

Here's my recipe, I hope you like it.

Ingredients

Original recipe makes 3 dozen Change Servings

1/2 cup shortening

1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Cream together the shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in egg. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually stir into the peanut butter mixture. Cover and refrigerate dough for at least one hour.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Make small balls of dough. Flatten with fork dipped in flour to form cross-wise pattern.

Bake for 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until just set. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.

It's a good thing.

Do you have a recipe for cheesecake by any chance?

The only thing I hate (besides a few people and losing a ship to stupidity) is 15 threads about essentially the same topic.

Cheesecake is not merely cheesecake. It is the Holy Grail of desserts. You must specify which type of cheesecake, Sir, to obtain the desired response.

  3. The group is preoccupied with making money.
  4. Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished.
  5. Mind-numbing techniques (such as meditation, chanting, speaking in tongues, denunciation sessions, debilitating work routines) are used to suppress doubts about the group and its leader(s).
  6. The leadership dictates sometimes in great detail how members should think, act, and feel (for example: members must get permission from leaders to date, change jobs, get married; leaders may prescribe what types of clothes to wear, where to live, how to discipline children, and so forth).
  7. The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s), and members (for example: the leader is considered the Messiah or an avatar; the group and/or the leader has a special mission to save humanity).
  8. The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which causes conflict with the wider society.
  9. The group's leader is not accountable to any authorities (as are, for example, military commanders and ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream denominations).
  10. The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify means that members would have considered unethical before joining the group (for example: collecting money for bogus charities).
  11. The leadership induces guilt feelings in members in order to control them.
  12. Members' subservience to the group causes them to cut ties with family and friends, and to give up personal goals and activities that were of interest before joining the group.
  13. Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group.
  14. Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.

Seems very similar to Scientology Lol

edit: I just read the other thread after posting, spooky eh

This pretty much sounds like Tom Cruise leads Goons in disguise?

Actually, I'm not -- Just ask Mang about a lady he likes to scare out of his Ganked fleets when he talks about parking carriers (as if his FCing isn't scary enough). Though I think he knows me better by my alt (other main)-- it's been awhile.

I'll take the drink though, even though I"m not as cute as my avatar and probably old enough to be her...er, big sister. Blink
