I always wondered the day when we could actually customize
Our ships.
For examples:

Corporation logos on our ships we use.

Customize and build battleships, BC, FG etc.
By buying upgrades or by earning custom fits.

You can customize your character but I think the next step
To increase players interest to play eve would be customization.

What do you think of all that?
And do you think it's possible to do in this kind of game?

How do we go about suggesting that to CCP?

Have anything to add? Please do I'm interested to know
Your thoughts and ideas about it.

Constantly being suggested. In fact, I think this idea has surfaced in at least 2 other threads here in GD this week! My guess is it won't happen probably due to server resources.

I'd like to see all ships basically become lego; Make a system and then rebuild existing content using said system. This is also how I'd like to see "modular POSes" done, too. Sadly I don't think we'll be getting the modular POS system any time soon, let alone modular ships (outside of T3s).

Ship skins and logos are a planned feature, though.

I thought about that but really if it was mentioned before many times.
I'm curious to know why we didn't get an answer from CCP.

How do I get a hold of them to mention it and see what thier answer would be?

I remember seeing a dev interview where it was said, that the reason it wasn't done already was that it was difficult to justify the use of development resources on it. Basicly saying there is nothing preventing it, but there always seems to be better use for dev time when the time to make decisions comes. This is all based on my recollection though, so don't hold CCP accountable for it.

I don't think we need corp logos or to change colours, I would like to see a build date and perhaps wear/damage to hulls though.

Have you pondered how this should be achieved in code?

The amount of extra data that either has to be transmitted to each client or have to be downloaded at each update?

Like everyone having to update their client because some J.Random Schmuck in his 3 alt corp has updated a logo?

T3 BS? Don't we have enough issues with the T3 cruisers? I don't think CCP would like to move from one can of worms to an ever bigger can of snakes.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I like the idea. All black Domi with corporation/ Alliance logo on the side. Ship name on the hull in whatever font I choose.

I would support this but now that the micro transaction model exists in eve, CCP would never let us customize anything without AUR being involved. For that reason I'm sort of hoping this will never happen.
