What empty threat is that exactly? I simply decided not to waste my isk on a merc fleet; that doesn't make the threat empty. At most that means I simply changed my mind on the intention of paying a merc fleet. An empty threat is defined as a threat which is baseless and made simply to provoke without an intention of carrying it to fruition.

So you are saying that your original threat(*) to hire mercs to kill these guys was baseless and you had no intention of carrying it to fruition.

The human mind is capable of some truly amazing acrobatics. How will you lie to yourself next?

REDACTED.

You should use your brain a little more. I had every intention of carrying it out. I simply chose not to when the next day came around. That does not mean I -never- had an intention to do it; nor does it mean that the threat was either empty or baseless. It simply means that my decision changed; not that the original intent changed.

Go ahead, take a few minutes. Apparently you're lacking some language comprehension skills.

Qiwi'Lisolet I'm glad you've come here to share your side of the story. There are many fine corps who frequent Crime and Punishment on a regular basis.

I'm certain some of them will offer you membership.

Just remember, an honest corp will:

1. Ask for API's. You should show them you have nothing to hide and submit full ones with all boxes checked, no expiration.

2. Ask for a refundable deposit. Honest corps ask for a deposit usually ranging from 10m to 100m to guard against spais and awoxers. Some larger corps ask for as much as 500m or more. These deposits are normally refundable after 30 days or so of good behaviour.

3. Engage in singing on comms. Corps that don't sing are sad indeed.

1) Yeah, clearly. I find nothing against APIs.

2) Hell no. That's 99.5% of the time a total scam. Goons are famous for it.

3) lol

oh... and I'm not interested in membership with any corps tbph. I make my living with incursions and have no need for a corp - null sec can be fun but I'm not risking it due to the inherent dishonesty of corp leadership throughout eve.

Dear diary,

Today I saw a corp accuse a former member of stealing stuff and stealing is bad. But then the member showed where they had a minor disagreement and they kicked him and blew up his stuff. It seemed the corp was bad and the former member in the right, but then logs showed the member acting like a tool and threatening to call his powerful friends in nullsec which everyone knows is always a bs line. Then he said he makes all his isk in Incursions which has left me wondering why he traveled all the way back to the wh to get his mining barge. As you know, diary, even with officer mods a mining barge isn't very useful in Incursions.

Diary, today I learned I really don't ever want to associate with OP, his corp, his corp mates, or the Incursion guy. None of them sound like they are nice people or even coherent.

Mining barge was used inside of the WH for when I was helping them mine. It has nothing to do with incursions or even what I do outside of the WH. It was simply isk that I would have liked to not waste; I'm sure you'd feel the same about wasting isk... that is unless 250m isk is something you enjoy throwing away.

And who said anything about powerful friends? PL aren't my friends in any which way shape or form - they are a tool to be used by people who are willing to pay the isk.

You know... using your brain is a very smart thing to do - then again, to consider a smart thing you must first be using your brain.

Oh and btw: I wasn't kicked. I actually left the corp shortly after being blown up by my own hand. I was in the Rens system and right clicked my name, clicked quit corp - hit the accept button and was back in my NPC corp. It would appear you have little to no idea of what actually happened here as I've just pointed out three rather major false claims you made.

No, 250m isk is not normally something I would throw away. I'd get it back before I "clicked quit corp" if I could. But you're the big Incursion runner, and all of those guys I meet wouldn't bat an eye at 250m, esp wouldn't bother going to a wh for a mining barge.

As for the quit corp thing instead of getting kicked.. I blame the rum I was drinking last night. But my version sounds better because who quits a corp then expects to get their stuff back? And who goes to a wormhole in a pod in view of a corp that is not theirs, and sits in a mining barge and doesn't expect to wake up in a clone vat?

So for my grievous errors I will have sentenced myself to Administrative punishment: 40 lashes.

I didn't quit corp first. I went in while still in corp to retrieve my exhumer.

As for not batting an eye at 250m - you must have met some seriously hard core runners. I've never met an incursion runner who is willing to just throw away 250m.

I went to the bubble of the POS to grab my exhumer, the bubble was locked to me by that point (But I was still in corp) - the CEO bumped the exhumer out of the bubble, waited for me to fly to it and board it - the second before I boarded it while within range, Keith (The acting CEO 99.995% of the time) blew me up BEFORE I could board it; then blew it up afterwards (or so they say... I didn't see any mails about it)

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

Just a bunch of kids who think they're special (oh and don't worry, you truly are "special"). It's cute in a creepy kind of way how much they think their lies will impact my life (or the life of others). Such delusional people. Then again... they do like ponies. =D

The special needs are strong in this thread. OP is terrible. Mackinaw pilot is terrible. Keith is terrible. Terrible posts for everyone!
