removing saved usernames in launcher

Is there a way to clear them out? I have two launcher shortcuts, named for each account I want to launch but but both of them have both usernames saved and every now and then when I get in a hurry, I log the wrong account in

Click the gear icon (top right), go to Cache, and chooce "Clear cached usernames".

Or just make shortcut to Exefile.exe and ditch the launcher.

not sure how I missed that but it doesn't work. It clears them out but when you relaunch the launcher, they come back
