Intergalactic Summit

This may be the bloody bath of a new, and hopefully prosperous, future. Heth won't go away quietly, that's sure, but a new State is rising again, one closer to their traditions and laws. May the pain be brief, and the following joy long.

Ready? Set? Race for the the power vacuum!

The aftermath of this turn of events should be interesting to watch.

Mr. Syagrius, our duty is to the State. Heth no longer serves the State. I see no illusion here; merely the rejection of a man whose moment of glory is long past.

Would you not set aside a broken tool? And would you not discard it if it tried to cut you?

This is disappointing, but expected.

My best wishes to the Caldari Navy and the Home Guard in a swift and decisive action in ensuring resolution of bringing the criminal terrorist, Tibus Heth, and his followers of violent dissidents and insurgents to justice with minimal loss of life to the innocent in Haatamo.

For it is only the enemies of the State who deserve to be treated without mercy or compassion.

So, he's now a marked man in the State, as well as the Federation. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, huh?

I'm glad I purchased some celebratory alcohol a couple of weeks ago, I'll hopefully have the chance to use it soon. Remember, we party once he's a corpse.

Now this will end how it should have ended five years ago during uprising at the Caldari Constructions facility in the Piak system.

A statement long expected and needed. At last this will clear out any possible misconception about Tibus Heth having any legitimate authority over State, Kaalakiota or Caldari Constructions assets. Any one choosing to side with him now against the Navy and the CEP will have no excuse whatsoever, and will be effectively guilty of treason.

However much one would like to hope that the situation in Haatomo will be resolved peacefully, the facts that the Templis Dragonaurs have taken hostages and have access to capital ships inside the station indicate that this situation will escalate further still.

Every effort to ensure that all those responsible are brought to justice must be taken. If the requirement for this is a fratricidal combat outside Haatomo station, or anywhere in the cluster indeed, the responsibility, mr Heth, is on your shoulders. You pledged allegiance once to the State. Yet now you lead an armed insurrection against it, at the head of a terrorist group.

Men have gone to the Tea-Maker for lesser offenses. Do be a man. Take your tea and spare the loss of many loyal citizens to the State in a battle you cannot hope to win.

A word of warning. You've backed Heth into a corner. I know his type, that's where they fight hardest.

He still has loyalists, and he still draws breath.

I'm not sure where you get that from but, whatever, I'll bite.

Heth never had much support from State capsuleers.

Just because there's something broken with the executive didn't mean that State loyalists were going to up and leave their homes in some kind of petulant protest. Instead they very sensibly kept their mouths shut, and did what they could to reduce the harm done from the inside.

Change was only ever going to come from within the State.





A personal question if I can, Farel - What is it you hope to gain out of showing up to discussions like this? If you're not cherry picking off the back of somebody else's arguments, you're trying to take some kind pseudo-moral high ground only you appear to understand. What's it all about? Answers in a mail if you're feeling generous, there's no reason to derail this discussion.
