Breaks are good.

Let me save you money if you consider SWTOR: I can tell ya you'll appreciate the genius behind this market and the PvP and most everything else about EVE after a day there.

I don't know of any games with more traveling space except one I last heard under development. There was a thread in Out of Pod about it some months ago.

Co-op may be up your ally...and you know where to find EVE when you're ready to come back. Hotel California and all....

Star Citizen possibly?

I know that will pull me away from Eve when it goes live just off the demo videos. Dogfighting: check. Actually working maneuvering thrusters that screw you up if they are damaged: check. Immersive and working cockpits: check Mile long ships you can dock on and undock from: check.

Wern't CCP planning on expanding on Exploration and then Industry. POS changes may even create new industry. I think you'll be back Bear

If you find yourself bored, it is largely your own fault. In this game it's the players that create the content, the conflicts, wars, and the tears. Yours, by the way, are delicious. I shall bottle them and carry them close to my cold and evil heart.

I have come to the conclusion that if CCP does not get this game more interesting...

I am quitting Eve.

I have played for a long time and I am tired of spending real money on it every month. For those that care, the industrial side is what I enjoyed doing. I liked to craft things. I liked to explore as well. The pvp is okay, but I am a carebear at heart. I will not kill. I do not enjoy killing. It reminds me of people who eat meat. And I am a vegan.

I want to go where no one has gone before. I want to explore the empty void for hours on end and occasionally find something like a new plant or bacteria. I want to find systems where no one is in local.

I don't like people either. Let's make the rats intelligent. I want to login to a single player version of Eve where i do not have to interact with real people. But when I do want to play with people, I don't want npc's. So we should do away with them. Of course this means no missions but since I don't like missions, let's do away with missions!

I also like to trade. Let's make the market more like the real world. Erotica 1 is a stock broker in real life. Let's ask her for help.

Since I don't like to kill, give us the ability to disable ships. I would love to take people prisoner or be able to rescue them. I'd love to see people float in their pods, unable to get home. Let's see if the Mittani will pay to get all the Goons back that I capture. We need to outlaw podding. Or at least make the golden pod invincible, like James 315's invincible stabber.

Anyway, I have rambled on long enough.

Please be respectful and do not call me names. I am sensitive. I love you all, brothers and sisters.

Before you quit Eve, I just want to say this:

Buy a mining permit from the New Order and you will be at peace. www.minerbumping.com

That is all.

This!!!!

This is the reason I could send Erotica1 RL iskies to be doubled by her/him/it ... LOL!

I can send pesos, bolivares, american dollars and some quetzales too ...

On Op´s thread, all I can say, I have been here 8 LONG YEARS, with some breaks in between. You have the EVE BURN, chill out, leave a long time skill training and then return.

The only things I havent tried in EVE are things that bore me to death, but there´s always more.

For me I derive my entertainment from sending random chats to people all around the EVE cluster and ending up swapping stories/pictures/videos of midgets, tumblr #creepy posts , shemales , cooking recipes, local folkloric music from Guatemala, Peru, Panama and Ecuador and sometimes people leave more confused than they were before talking to me and I feel I did my part for the game. After 8 years living in this game your mind begins enjoying certain things not many can comprehend.

I know some people get raging obsessions with Kill Board stats and KB related things, others begin to enjoy swearing like 10 drunken sailors from different cultures into a single metalanguage of profanities on comms, others stare Zen like at rocks and mine them or worship them, others I know go all out of their way to beg for something, love, companionship or community approval in their own monkeysphere whereas others , like one guy I found out once using combat probes, parked in a low traffic system in a safe spot, ejecting cans over and over and upon me warping to zero to his little playground in space began telling me stories of the lost treasures of Samarkand ... yes, that was the most odd, I think I was drunk and not playing, but details are hazy.

That's it. I don't know much about it but what I saw looks interesting. I don't think it will pull me away from EVE but I would like to try it at some point -- and sometimes I need to mix up games a bit anyway, even though EVE is MMO home. Of course CCP may need to add dragons at some point when another game comes out...

See I KNOW what this is really about...

OP - You cannot be Quitting Eve ... that name is already taken as is Leaving Eve. Pls pick another name and stop throwing your toys out of the pram for something so minor

I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking

Go check the Roberts SPace Industries as they have some new videos up with the creator demonstrating immersion, physics, and scale. :)
