Is there a place to get a translation for these codes. IE is there a place where I can find out that item ID: XXXXX=veldspar? and stationID: ZZZZZZ=Jita 4-4? Ive been googling for about an hour and cant find an answer for this as all the stuff is outdated and full of dead links. I have the asset list correctly pulled here, I just need to know what is what in this list.

Not sure about locationID, but for typeID use: http://eve-files.com/chribba/typeid.txt

http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/resources/locations.txt.gz

It's a cut down version of:
http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/dump/odyssey-1.0-89097/mapDenormalize.csv.bz2

which is a dump of the table:
http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/dump/odyssey-1.0-89097/mapDenormalize.sql.bz2

From the SDE. It has approximately 500 thousand entries in it (as it includes all the celestials)

You may want to hack it down to size. I might be able to hack it down to just stations, but that'll take a while longer (as I'll have to look up all the station typeids)

thanks guys! both of those are VERY helpful.

I tried to find some of those locationIDs in the xml result but couldnt. for example, I have items in the system hahda. I can find locationIDs for the system, but not for the station they are located in.

Im realizing i dont understand how the API spits out information but I just cant find a good resource to tell me how to do it.

Basically, all i want is for a googledocs spreadsheet to automatically fill in how building materials the corporation has. So for one cell I need to pull the quantity for say Isogen, located in system X, in station Y, in the corporate hangar tab Z.

Im a director in the corp so I can pull the corp asset data (i have the full xml result here next to me)

thanks guys!

i do use jeveassets, but can I pull data from jeveassets into an excel or googledocs spreadsheet?

My reason is that this spreadsheet is already huge and very helpful in tracking quantities of materials necessary for jobs. the goal is not simply to track my assets but to automatically update this spreadsheet.
