Well I'm pretty much willing to blindly support anything that would cause me to make more money with no effort. Count me in.

This would be terrible for those new to trading, since veteran traders could easily undercut the new guys. The new guys would then have to get standings up via other means to compete, and so this would become a system that only favored the old guard.

+1 for alternative to combat missions, but there are already non combat missions to increase standing. I think this would work best with some kind of station environment and more personal interaction.

On thing I might add would be "missions" where the station corp says, for example, "we want to establish more ship sales in this system, so expand your ship offerings..." Of course then its up to the player to see if it is viable, or to make it viable and reap the rewards.

If you need to grind standings and not seesaw as much, then do mainly distribution missions and reject faction kill missions.

There is a way for you to build standing with trading!

I'f you're very successful you can hire "employees" , ... alts. (and many alts actually)..

You need to pay a few billion signing fee and it's true that you'll need to watch and wait for a week or two (job aplications review) till you find the right ones: the ones that have high faction standings. You do need to pay your employees (plex)

Your effort trading allows you that perk .

One player.. expanded horrizons ! Plex: the game item that allows you to employee more characters for you to use at your whim. Isk, the currency that lets you purchase characters contracts once they've been trained by others.

What you have there is a bad idea that would be bad for the game and offers no benefit over the existing mechanics that you have chosen to ignore.

Let's see here. If I am a trader, and this would make efficient trading easier, then why on earth wouldn't I be in favor of it?

Oh wait - because it would also make things easier for other traders - my competition. So no, not a big fan of this idea.

I found it a "could have" kind of idea to begin with and now that you're quoting yourself I'm going to demote it in my personal priority setting to "won't have" .

It's just not a very good idea, in my humble opinion and it won't become a better idea if you keep bringing it up over and over again.

sorry.
