Can we see a full Meta14 Tengu?


Make it your goal to build one Lol I did misspeak in original post as well, meant mostly dead space mods-not officer. I may be silly at times but am not an idiot P

Your ships cost about the same (Phoons cost about 120M each). You spent a fortune on shiny mods.

Anyway in this situation, no there wasn't really much you could have done apart from noticing that you'd been scanned. They were waiting for you and set up specifically to kill your exact fit.

3 guys in battleships to kill 1 dude in a cruiser (on whom they have intel) sounds like they should reasonably expect to kill you IMO.

I've had my mission alt scanned a few times. I watchlisted the guy who did it and changed to a different ship with a lot more EHP.

PS You probably didn't need to spend 2.7B on a Tengu fit.

ISK tanking will never work the way you want it to, as silly people tend to do silly things with ships.

Taken to the silly conclusion, loading a shuttle with 200 PLEX should make it immortal then.

Perhaps what you are proposing is this...CCP make it so you cannot load a ship out with more bling than it would take to gank it. Say, I can kill a Tengu with a 200mil ISK ship, then the Tengu won't be permitted to put more than 200mil worth of modules on the ship, minus hull costs of course.

No I would never suggest any thing as moronic as you just mentioned above even as a troll attempt. There are many things that could be done to bring balance to this exact situation. I will not hi-jack this post to cover something that’s has been covered thousands of ways.

I have never felt cheap fit high dps ships should be this effective in hi-sec.

It took 3 pilots in battleships specially fitted for the job, with exact knowledge of what they needed and when to attack, to kill a single cruiser.

A single battlecruiser could have done the job in 0.0

T2 Fitted HAM Tengu with a single small B-type pithi Sb (under 150M) s 850dps at 39km with rage (+if implants and yadaya) 650 with javelins at 75km.

Your next Tengu will be as efficient as your last one for lvl4's but way cheaper. Lesson learned ?
