I can't believe more readers have not responded to this thread/post.

I for one LOVE the changes and it makes me want to join an alliance or form one just for this opportunity next year.

Who can't love a cup at CCP HQ / fanfest?!

Love the Duality test server - brilliant!

Everything about this announcement is win.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Hey everyone,

I just edited the blog to inform you all that unfortunately we will not have a tournament trophy this year due to time constraints preventing us from making it in time for the finals of the tournament.

We will hopefully have one made and ready for next year but until then we will go back to the drawing board and attempt to design an even cooler trophy that is worthy of being a monument to the achievements of the alliances that have emerged victorious from the Alliance Tournament.
