Been living in a C4 for over a year now, but I have yet to see them. According to:
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Wormholes#Wormhole_Identification
they do exist and are named O128, so my question is, have anyone seen them?
If they exist, are they completely close to non-existant rare and in that case, does anyone know why?
Seems wierd to pick a class out and exclude them from wandering holes if there ain't a good reason...

You know... now that you mention it, I've never seen one on TQ or the test servers either. I can recall a lot of C1, 2 and 3s, a handful of C5s and 6s but not a single C4. Shocked

You have piqued my curiosity sir.

O128 is a mass regen WH, mass regen WHs aren't live on TQ.

Even if it was you could potentially scan a C4 24x7 for upto something like 2 years before seeing one potentially so even if they are/were live ingame its quite possible for almost no one to have seen one.

Database attributes specify a C3 highsec static regens 500mil mass.

There are a number of connections that never went live on TQ, including a C6 one large enough to fit Titans through. Thank god for that.

I live in a C4 for over two years. Not once was there ever a periodic (random, roaming, whatever) leading outwards from it.

I've never seen a k-space connection from C4 space (as the O128 would be).

I THINK I've seen wandering wormholes in a c4 though, but now that Nathan just said that ^ I'm questioning myself.

The only holes I've ever seen in c4's are statics and k162's; never anything else

Ah yeah D845s also a bit of an anomally at 5bn max mass.

Even assuming O128s were live in the game all sources of information show there to be very few of them - no more than single digit numbers max, they last 24 hours with over 500 systems they possibly could connect to and need someone to scan them down from the outside before spawning the k162. So the chances of someone even seeing one let alone someone seeing them that would realise the significance of it let alone make it known publicly is extremely low.

Thanks for the responses, it is as I suspected, these C4s are kinda special Ugh
I was a bit unclear in my original post, but you cleared that up as well. It isn't just that particular wormhole that conspicuously absent, but that C4s never seems to be the source of any wandering wormholes either.

I've been in C4s for probably the better part of 2 years I've never seen anything other than the local static and K162s

we live in a c4 for more than 3 years now, we get only K162s

This is certainly interesting and now that I think about it I've never seen one.
I would love to get a CCP Dev response on this thread explaining if this is actually live on TQ or not.

All data so far as well as personal experience points at there being no wandering outbound wormholes in C4 space. As to the O128...they are so rare that we may never see one even if it's implemented.

Actually, that chart says O128 would lead to C4 (if it existed). No one's ever sighted one that I've ever heard of. There aren't any leading from C4.

If O128s are live then they do, I was told no mass regen whs were live but I guess they meant no wormholes regen mass as D845s are live in the game and thats a mass regen wh.

Thing is theres single figure number of O128s even if they are live and thousands of systems they could be in, they can lead to over 500 C4 WHs and need someone to both scan them down and initiate warp to on the k-space side to spawn the k162.

So even if they are live from the point of view of any one C4 you could potentially be there monitoring sigs 24x7 for literally years before you saw one.

Why would the K162 be scanned down to spawn? Thought it spawned when the original hole spawned. You're right about the probability for anyone to find it though, that's why I thought about asking if anyone might've seen it.
