Please excuse this possibly dumb question. I couldn't find the answer through searching.

Are the quantity and quality of relic and data sites in null sec effected by the industrial index of the system? I always thought that they were spawned more or less randomly depending on the true sec status of the system but someone told me today that if the industrial index of a site fell too low, no more relic or data sites would spawn there. I thought that only applied to anomalies.

Anyone know the answer? Thanks in advance.

another question: do the damn things spawn in drone space ..ive been flying around making trips and trips and have yet to find one

Looks like there aren't any sites in drone space :(

Have found up to 10 combat sites in a single system but no data or relic...

This may be true. Just got done searching 20 plus systems in Etherium Reach, not one relic or data sight. Nothing but wormholes and combat sights.

Maybe drones don't have need for data caches or ancestors that left behind relics? Could it be an intentional part of Eves NPC storyline?

Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.  Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!!

There are relic/data sites in drone space, i get faction drones bp from them + standard stuf. I found 2 sites in 2 days so i left from drone space.

drone space = hordes. No exploration that worth the time compared also very few signatures. The only thing that worth doing is the escalations and the 10/10
