Now I must ask CCP, what is the point of seeding .4 moons in Low Sec with new materials when you can't even mind the goods that are on them..

Who says they are new?
If they are new, who are they hurting?
Why are you scanning 0.4 systems, when your findings there are useless?

Well, new seed or not, there always is this very good question of why 0.4 moons can't be harvested.

Agreed, it's a useless anomaly. I can only assume that the 0.4-specific restrictions (I think there are some others as well) are an artefact of CCP making sure that there are no edge-case scenarios where things can happen in hi-sec that should be lo-sec only.

.4 is low sec so every normal penalty is enforced for attacking someone else's towers so it is a great question why they can't be harvested and I believe they should be able to be harvested.

If only we had a CSM to ask CCP about these things...

I'd have a bunch of questions regarding the state of lowsec, such a shame none of the CSM this year are lowsec dwellers...

I personally love that 0.4 moons can not be mined.

People use POS's for other things and I'd hate to see those other things all get pushed back into high sec.

Not allowing 0.4 moons to be mined is one of the things CCP got right. Shocked

The evil 0.0 conspiracy "persuaded" every single potential lo-sec candidate not to run.

Either take the technetium or wake up next to a slaver hound head in your bed, capisce?

Make it a lady of low morale instead of slaver hound head, and I'll take anything.

On a more serious note, missed town hall y'day but would really like to see the answer to this question in some future csm documents, sine there really is no logic to this limitation. I don't have any illusions that most lowsec entities could ever hold to a R64 moon but I'm sure some lower tier moons would come in handy too.
