All Cosmos Static Complexes Not working after Odyssey

All Cosmos Complexes containers are not respawning correctly, its currently the first person to trigger the mini game will be able to access the loot. If anyone else attempt to hack / analyze them after 15m nothing happens.

Also the NPC Guarding these sites, do not have the normal loot drops. Its only Ammo related stuff which isnt correct.


This is basically GAME OVER for anyone who was producing Storyline Items as a profession.... It was hard getting items to make stuff before, but as it current stands its HORRID.

Please write a bug report and post in the issues forum where the devs might actually see it.

I totally forgot about the cans in Cosmos Complexes.

This game just went from bad to worse.

Not only is it a part of COSMOS CANS.. ITS THE HIGHER TIER MINI GAMES.... SO ITS EXTREMELY MORE ANNOYING ...

Before the expansion (which is actually a contraction) those sites would have multiple NPC's respawning within a few minutes or so.

So I take it they still have NPC's respawning and attacking while you have to do some silly mini hacking game?

You're right on, and to add to the sillyness, you don't have to do the minigame, use a ship with tank and grab as many cans you can, from someone that does it.

I for one really love COSMOS, hope they don't let it die.

Some cans seem to be resetting after awhile. Data archaeology in Minmatar sites definitely not.

Nor are the can in Gallente COSMOS re-spawning.

Also, only some cans were earlier dropping Technologies skillbooks, lower tier (easier to hack cans) dropped datasheets/decryptors, now, they all drop those skillbooks, at the detriment of datasheet/decryptors.

And, more generally, cans will mostly drop PI products instead of the earlier parts/datasheets. COSMOS BPC production is grinding to a halt, and probably, some of the Storyline missions will be impossible to complete for most players.

I keep looking for it in patch notes but still not even an acknowledgement that there is a problem!

Randomly and I don't know how long this has been happening (although this definitely wasn't the case pre patch), I also should report that fof missiles target the hacking structures. I had a sneaky plan involving them and doing the hacking-game without worrying about that rats.

I'm also interested to know if this is still happening, I haven't tested since the first few patches thought I'd see something in todays patch notes...

I also reported this problem over 9 days ago and have heard nothing back since CCP said: " We are already aware of this problem, and have added your bug report to the existing issue in our defect tracking system."

I'm going to pop into my outstanding bug report and make a note asking CCP to come onto this thread and comment on the matter. I suggest anyone else with an open bug report does the same and try and prod CCP into some sort of action/response.

Another mini-patch today and still no fix for this COSMOS bug.

Still no reply from CCP.

About 16 days since this bug was first reported and it still hasn't been resolved...

Great... now the COSMOS sites are despawning if some or all of the cans are opened.

That means that any COSMOS agents and rooms which not contain cans but are within the same complex are also disappearing when the ENTIRE COSMOS site despawns.
