hey peeps, forgive me if I ask or say this but.....

I notice that high sec is full of wormholes now... They are everywhere, sometimes I just stumble with them when I travel between planets ... but... Where in teh heck are those relic sites...? The ones with the new hacking minigame...????

Is not that I am complaining because right now it is so friggin easy to get ABC from a wormhole place and since the place is full of wormholes... figures...

The thing is that I have only see one relic site!!!! One, I have been scanning a lot since Odyssey... How exactly they work...? or there is plenty of those in nullsec????

ps: Do relic thingies spawn inside wormholes...?

Everyone and their mother is scanning, so expect more wormholes to open as people scan them and for there to be less sites in highsec because it's overpopulated.

Yes, wormholes have relic sites. They still have Sleeper NPCs though.

ow! what are you saying...

That the more people around a certain system the more stuff spawns...?

In the same way that more people having sex translates indirectly to more STDs, yes. But it's an indirect relationship. Sex does not itself cause STDs. Just unsafe methods of probing down other peoples' holes...wait, what was I talking about?

omg! you had to make the probe joke... well, ccp made it in fanfest, so everything is cool... I guess...

The thing is that, maybe I should take a bunch of computers in a college lab or something, create a bunch of trial acounts and put them all in a low transist system, then get bette wormholes...

I mean, oh rly, is that even possible...

It comes down to the new EZ-mode scan system CCP put in. People use to pass up sites because they didnt know they were there. Now everyone and their sister, brother, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, girlfriends, boyfriends... well you get the point. They know there are sigs in system with them now. So they scan them down and do them. That = less hacking for you.

Well, I hope they keep freaking out of wormholes, every time i get into one and stay around the wormhole for a while, there is no one getting in!!!

Let me guess, Teddy Bears dont even like wormholes at all...

Haha I like you ;) Wormholes are instand 0.0 -1.0. Most Hi-sec scanners are looking for quick money they dont want to venture into the Rabbit hole.

As explained the more people hunting for sites the less the chance you have of finding one. (more so in hi-sec) If you want good pickings move around to Low-Sec or Null sec for better results. :D

Or just raid the wormholes if you keep running into them. C1-3 sites are fairly easily solo'd. If you have an Alt for Salvage/probing you' re set to Annoy the crap out or end as a tasty meal for the low end dwellers

So far it's meant more fun stalking day-trippers who have no idea what they're bringing on themselves. The vast majority have poor scanning skills, so they take ages to scan anything in a WH down, very poor stealth discipline (so they're easy to grab when they decloak), and usually fly Magnates of some sort (don't know why Magnates rather than Herons, Imicuses, or Probes) so they can't warp in cloak either. They are sometimes bait - just often enough to keep things interesting. Then there was the Covetor I caught on the WH side of a HiSec-C2 hole yesterday, just sitting there AFK.

lol afk mining in wormhole space...

Well, I saw a prophecy in the dscan, it was doing a combat site... Then a friggin proteus appeared and disappeared very fast...

3 minutes later.... A wreck pops up in the dscan lol...

15 minutes later.... a corpse also appears in the dscan...

The laugh alone was worth one million...

note: the hacking mini is kinda cool, but I am wondering if they will do that with mining one day lol... Get rid of the high sec afkness and wormhole dscan spamming....

I think I should mention this. It's not the number of people in a system that dictates how many wormholes there are, or how good they are. The K162 wormholes only appear when someone has gone to the connecting wormhole. Until they do, that signature doesn't show up. With a lot more people scanning, more people are finding the initial wormholes, and so more K162's are appearing. I'm not sure if you knew this, but it's something that might be worth mentioning. Also, if I'm wrong, please explain.

!!!?

So the K162 is not a real wormhole entrance, its just a backdoor to another wormhole that was entered by the main worm entrance some time ago....?

There are definitely more WHs now (more being activated). I was in Null a few days back and found 8 in one system and I found 5 in one HS system yesterday.

4-6/10s seem to be hard to come by these days.

A corp mate said it best: "Just what EVE needed. Mini-games"

Forget the relic & data sites and come jump in a wh :D

(Hint: They're called Relic and Data sites.)

Sadly with all the wormholes I have scanned down and entered. All are occupied except the Black Hole ones. And no one wants to try sleeper sites in a c5 with a BH. Not solo or even in a small group .

cap escalations cant really be done in a BH.

There are alot of empty c5's though of all system effects, we come across them daily.
