Wow, my toon is ten years old. i have seen this game change alot. I played beta in late 02 to 03 and stopped in 04, then picked it back up in 08 and been playing since then. I am almost at 90m Sp. Lots of great folks in this game. i dont normally post but thanks for reading.

Got my tenth on the 18th. I always knew I was in for the long haul. Hell, a few weeks ago I found my old retail box from 2003 and had a fit. Might frame it. Have seen many changes for sure, and much to think back on, from torps destroying frigs in one go, to stacking mods, my first solo trip to Fountain from Caldari space which took like 5 hours, servers maxing out at just over 2000 people, and nanos practically making a ship accelerate sideways....good times. There's a lot I miss, but there's still more to love about this game so, capsuleers, I salute you.

The game is too old

Can we get a modernized version and swap our characters over? I want sparkling sparkles in space. I want to see contrails, and the space dust in photo realism.

I actually participated in beta in late 02. Didnt actually subscribe to the game until 06 due to living like a hippie and not having internet access until that time. I lived in a yurt for a while, lmao! I still look back on those times with great nostalgia. 3 man roaming battleship (apoc) gangs were awesome and I hated the clunky ui where you had to switch between low/med/high mods.

thanks everyone. i think i purchased the retail eve in store for 55 usd. Thats insane. my biggest memory from the time is the login screen music. that brings back alot.

I suggest we all contract him a birthday present! I certainly don't expect you guys to match what I gave, but just be creative and thoughtful.

Gratz to all the Characters created back around Beta time that are still active.

I'm 5 yrs old and have witnessed massive changes in this game myself. It must seem like drastic changes compared to 10 yrs ago.
