I'm by all intents and purposes a beginner with only 24 days under my belt. By the time I actually bought the game and received the Gnosis I understood that if I were to try to fly it I'd lose it pretty quickly.

So I checked it's market value and got a really good price for it.

Now I can practice fitting and flying just about any frigate and not have to worry about losing it. Plus a whole line of Ventures for my mining until I can go larger like a Receiver or Procurer.

Just glad I sold it. Money is no longer an issue for me and that is a load off my back.

Now I can get back to sucking wind at this game :)

Yeah if I was a new player I'd sell it too, it underperforms most regular BCs for a higher price, so it isn't practical at all, it's also skill intensive to get the most out of it. I'm just keeping mine until it's rare and then maybe sell it if I'm hurting for money although it will probably sit in my hangar collecting dust forever.

edit: you can make a decent fit out of it... but it requires some creativity and compromises.

It IS a dam very good ship TBH, requires good skills to be effective since half of its dps comes from drones but is a bloody good ship for sure and no one expects 650+ dps out of it with a Drake tank.

You know my skills are pretty high for BC (maxed out on a Drake) and drones are too, and the Gnosis did hit pretty good but compared with the Drake I found it to be meh.

But my interest is in missioning not exploration and I wouldn't trust it with sleepers it just doesn't have the staying power of other BC, it felt like a cruiser in terms of tank.

I will miss the 75m3 of drone space though.

And yes I have very good sp with other BC as well, (Gallente),(Amarr),(Winmatar)+ related skills all T-2.

It's just not as good as any other BC for pretty much everything except all-in-one exploration

some would say that even the other BCs with a utility high are still better at it given the new scanning system we have now.

The biggest strength of the gnosis is it's versatility.

gnosis its actually a nice ship. You can tank it according your skills , doesnt matter shield or armor, fix utility or dps according your skills again . It screams i want to be a ship for gatecamps..
