"Hate"? Where do you get the idea that we hate them?

At worst, they're a resource for our opponents & therefore a valid target.

At best, they're a great source of entertainment, and sometimes income, for roaming gangs, for new FCs to practice on and so on.

That got my interest...
And I did not mean hate in its normal meaning, it was more of a sarcasm thing Lol

Initiative, hmmm one of the alliances I admire, first of all it was they who came up with the firewall concept, second and main reason is that they have staying power unlike most other alliances that have won and lost space, they also seem to be in a forever war with -A- which again is another reason to like them. However it was disappointing to see one of them post like a Goon...

Regardless of that Seth Darkness has it right, that is what will happen... if anyone seriously wants to do this then setup a cell based structure around corps that trust each other and converge on the systems near the battlefield and take out reinforcements and late arrivals and pods, have fun... One of the things I like about the CFC is their complete attitude to warfare, while other alliances struggle for numbers they fight the main engagment, the CFC has people dedicated to interdiction of reinforcements and the like, if high sec corps want to get in small fleets and do this you will cause them some headaches, but doing what the OP suggested will result in a smart bombing quick death at a bubbled gate...

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

On behalf of my alliance, I apologise that a certain insensitive poster hurt your feelings. I'll send you 100,000 ISK as a token of goodwill when I get online later.

No need, just hold your space and keep killing -A- and -DD-

Which is exactly the point my alliance member was making, in a slightly indirect way.

Catch is a dump; the only value of the space is the how extraordinarily mad it makes some people that we're in it. I'm pretty annoyed at the ~angry russian coalition~ for taking so long to kick us out this time around. It's essential to our fun that they get all uppity and pleased with themselves about it so we can crush their hopes and dreams all over again.

Back on to the topic of the OP's project: I'm all in favour of it, but I hope he understands that it's going to be much more educational than it will be effective.

We are talking about Ventures, i don't think anyone except them to win the war, and it's safe to say everyone is going to die, but you never know what they might run into before that happens.

It's probably going to be fun, educational and with a little luck it might even be positive win/lose isk ratio.

This will happen at least once a weekend until the war is finished.

Yes, it doesn't take very long. Having done the run myself several times in the past days to determine threat level.

Only way that we will get caught is if someone in the fleet sets us up. Which is a good tactic and will likely be used. We may die in a fire or we might not. Another reason to keep the fit cheap.

Id suggest a Titan bridge, but frankly I am not going to put someones Titan in a risky position to jump a fleet of Ventures. If we were one corp and I could say everyone would be decent and not bump your Titan out and call friends then sure, but I am not about to put soemones 70 Billion isk ship on pedestal.

If they are pos up no pass to shield and stick end out of shield just enough to allow bridge that would limit risk.

Meh. The predictions are likely true - We're all going to die in a pointless fire somewhere short of the goal. But really, the journey ought to be worth it. Maybe even epic, if things turn out well - my most fun ever was being chased in a pod virtually halfway across empire space by a failed gank-target. BOY was he mad! - AFTER I'd lol-failed, no less. :D

So - If there's a big fire, and my hull goes up in smoke, I may yet have some fun. Maybe even more fun than if everything goes perfectly.
