Cannot fly command ships anymore?

Dear CCP

Before Odyssey I used to be able to fly all 4 races command ships with all skills at level 5. It was advertised loud and clear that any ships that I could fly before I will be able to fly after the upgrade as well.

Now I can't fly any of the 8 command ships in game. Why is that and why don't you stick to what you promise/advertise?

I am unwilling to spend 3 to 4 months training both my accounts to fly these ships again even if the subscriptions were free.

I'm sure lots of other people are in this situation and considering command ships are among the most advanced conventional ships in game, I'd be safe to assume all these players that fly them are long term clients that paid/pay you quite a lot of your money. Are you sure it's a good idea to screw them like that?

Have you actually tried to undock in one of those ships ?

You may not be able to train further for them until the new pre-regs are met, but you should still be able to undock in them

That's odd. After the upgrade last week it didn't work saying I don't have the required skill. After today's patch and flushing the cache it works. I have a Mac, maybe that's why it happened?

If you're not able to further train a skill you've injected, you should file it as a bug.

-1 You missed the I cannot fly a command ship rant from 100 other players that didn't read "If I could fly it before I can fly it now" by a week.

A search of the forums would have yielded you a treasure trove of these posts. And more sympathetic players that also didn't read the patch notes... but at least they realized they didn't read them the week of the patch.
