Hello,

Pretty strait forward.

2 New sets of implants something I noticed that has been missing.

For Shields an implant set that boost total Shield HP like that of Slaves for Armor.

For Armor an implant set that reduces cycle times and boost repping amount like that of the Crystal Set for shields.

Always wondered why these are not in the game.

Of course...

A thread wont be a thread without a moron. All we need now is a troll.

mmm... I think those implants don't exist so that the tanking forms are kept distinct. Plus, shield buffer implant would give the secondary effect of increased regen which would make it just a wee bit overpowered. I wouldn't mind seeing them, just wouldn't expect it to happen anytime soon.

He pretty much hit the nail on the head tbh. If he's not trolling which bit makes him a moron exactly?

I would be okay with shield buffer implant set, if it came with a nerf to passive regen of shields, even if it was = to only having regen that was same as without the implants

Supercap nerf - change ewar immunity https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=194759 Module activation delay! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1180934

That what I though as well. Since as another poster said it would make the Rattle even more unbelievable.

As for the moron comment... I asked, a reason instead of jab would have sufficed. This is not GD.

I could see a shield set that boosts hp but nerfs regen.

There are currently a wide variety of implant sets available to us in Eve Online.

We have implant sets for the following:
[Looking at Low-Grades Sets]

I will separate them into groups:

Increases Sensor Strength:
Grail = Bonus to ship's radar sensor strength
Jackal = Bonus to ship's ladar sensor strength
Spur = Bonus to ship's magnetometric sensor strength
Talon = Bonus to ship's gravimetric sensor strength

Increases Mobility:
Nomad = Bonus to agility
Snake = Bonus to maximum velocity

Increases Defensive Capabilities:
Crystal = Bonus to shield boost amount
Slave = Bonus to armor HP

Increases EWar Capabilities:
Centurion = Bonus to Optimal range of ECM, Remote Sensor Dampers, Tracking Disruptors and Target Painters
Talisman = Bonus to reduction in the duration of modules requiring the Energy Emissions System skill

Miscellaneous:
Edge = Bonus to reduction of booster side effects
Halo = Bonus to reduction of ship's signature radius
Harvest = Bonus to the range of all mining lasers
Virtue = Bonus to scan strength of probes

An implant set that I think would be interesting to add would be one that gives: a Bonus to range or maybe strength of modules requiring the PRIMARY skill of Propulsion Jamming. This means that Warp Disruption Fields Generators would not benefit from this implant set. This would only be a Low-Grade set.

I do realize this has the potential for being OP when used with links and a link pilot with a Skirmish Warfare Link Implant. Although, I would argue all pirate implant sets could be considered OP when used in combination with a max linked ship and pilot. However, without links, I would like to think this implant set would be no more OP than someone using a Slave set or Crystal set on their ship.

Another option for an implant set could be a Bonus to Scan Resolution. This could have a Low-Grade and a High-Grade variant.

The last idea, could be an implant set that enables the pilots ship to have a Warp Strength of 1 (You would need the entire set, implants Alpha-Omega for this to be a strength of 1. If you only had implants 1-5, then your ship would have a warp strength less than 1, thereby making it useless for protecting against warp disruptors). There would only be a Low-Grade set available.

Discuss.

And while at it, Blue Pill too.
