My fellow raiders, hunters, privateers, buccaneers, freebooters, and scalawags...With the recent changes to exploration something dreadful has happened!

You may have noticed a severe and alarming market crash in materials used for T2 Manufacture and Invention. The reason is because anyone with hacking trained to level 3 and access to an exploration frigate, or worse, a covops frigate, can now hack these data and relic sites without any interference from rats. And the pirates in lowsec are letting them get away with it!!!

This has flooded the market with materials and parts that were once a healthy part of our economy. Now the price of tech 2 items, such as ships, modules, ammo, rigs, all of it, will now be inflated.

We MUST stop this!!

I implore all of you to kill these wannabe's on-site. Yes some of them may be adorable noobs, but so are ummm....rodents (cute but pests)!

They may be in covops frigs, but they are often so complacent that they can be killed. You can catch them when they forget to cloak, you can catch them while hacking a site, you can trick them into accepting 'assistance'. Do this, not because you enjoy it, but because it is the 'right' thing to do. In fact, do it in highsec too! It doesn't take much to one-shot these frigates if fit properly.

Good hunting!

First - yes the experienced explorers are killing these people when we can...its not just our problem, second, they are not crap shoots - this shows how little you know about the profession. Only reason for you to comment is to hear the sounds of your own words, nothing of substance here though.

Third, put on a shirt and cut your hair - you are not sexy and you know it!

May I ask how increased supply of T2 items EVER could result in inflation of the prices on T2 items? I could only see increased supply to same demand end up in deflation on the prices, as people will lower the price trying to sell.

You caught it too... I'm also confused. I think what we are seeing is the common mistake in Eve of using the term "market crash" to explain both a large decline and a large increase in prices. This is why I have always been in favor of educating Eve players about how the market works in real life.

Crash- a severe downward price movement.

Bubble- excessive prices for a particular market

Bid- price someone is willing to buy at, expressed through a limit order

Ask- price someone is willing to sell at, expressed through a limit order.

Let's get past this buy and sell price gibberish so many Eve players talk about. I'll give you an example.

Let's say for item X, here are the prices you see in the market:

Top of your screen, these are asking prices.

150m
125m
100m

Bottom of your screen, these are bidding prices:

75m
50m
25m

The "inside quote" is 75m by 100m, and you could quote volume as well if you choose.

75m is the "best bid" and 100m is the "best ask"

The Eve client displays essentially what a trader sees on a Level II screen in the real world.

This is why people need to stop using terms that they hear from other Eve players. Because everyone confuses what the hell a "buy" and "sell" price are, essentially because they are worthless terms. I could buy it at 76m by placing a limit order and waiting, or I could buy it at 100m at market.

Someday I will create an Eve trading website to fix all this nonsense people say.

Don't say that too loud Erotica. Too much talk of a market and trading website and the next thing you know all our trades will be moved to android or iPhone. CCP would love to put something into that market I'm sure. Even worse if they make it another plex for privilege scheme like double training. I shudder to think what mobile trading bots would cause.

You are certainly one to talk! http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=1425645

And Tetsel, I understand that its not my own personal army. I am just saying that lots of lowsex is now a target rich environment , esp at Data and Relic sites, and some of those frigs are carrying 100 to 500 mil in their holds.

I am simply imploring the pirates to go kill them already! Its not that complicated, its good for the market etc....
