your attempt at market manipulation is bad, and you should feel bad.

Not sure if
a) Troll
b) Stupid
c) Ignorant

I would explain how we builders are still making plenty of profits... but honestly? I can't be bothered to explain

Edit: Hell, you've been playing longer than I... surely this is some troll attempt

E.G. a build cost on a DOMI is around 180 mil people are selling them for 100 mil you do the math

Unless there was one or two persons who where bright enough to build a Domi or five before the changes.

Five? You expected me to stop at five???

But that is the issue: Huge stocks of pre-expansion ships need to be sold off. Procurers are still being worked through.

Yeah you had people installing 30 day jobs on every slot on every manufacturing character they have for this change, expect the stockpiles to last a while.

end of the day the Ship market is F+3%ed and most people are loosing isk and following the sheep on the market with out doing there homework,

OMG it's LOSING. Otherwise they'd just need a wrench to tighten that **** up.

And yes the vast majority are stockpiled from before odyssey. Anyone who didnt would likely be sitting on their stock until the price rises.

And no they can't sell at the new prices yet as the competition with those who did stockpile would leave their stuff overpiced and on the shelves.

Imma give this a 0/10

as long as Jaspet & Hemorphite carries on spawning in anoms daily in 0.5s, my ability to care about what you sell T1 stuff priced at could never go lower.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

yeah not all ships they left destroyers alone, but the point is its been 6 months nearly and im seeing day to day poeple putting ships on at below production cost, a no every one havnt stock piled a load of ship as they would be selling at the new high price not the old price

No. There will always be a group of people in the MIMAF group that will continue to do what they've always done and only count the incoming isk as profit.

But I think that you are seriously underestimating the amount of isk being invested into prebuilt ships, from the frig change and up, the isk has only been increasing.

So there'll be a loooong time before it's "profitable" to build a T1 battleship again.

And the MIMAFs are increasing that run.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

" WAKE UP SMELL THE ROSE'S"

That suggests everything is fine, if the indy's woke up, they would smell the roses (ie everything is ok)

It would be hard to find a more perfect example of Game Theory at work.

You could try to convince everyone to list near build cost and cartel the market. You would have a better chance at being one of these guys:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk7yqlTMvp8

Player A is incentivized to undercut (cheat) and sell his stock first, allowing him to use that liquid capital for a new investment before his competition.

Player B sees that and undercuts Player A. Both lower prices till one feels they are not getting an acceptable return for the time they are willing to wait.

It is a question on whether or not you can generate a greater return with a small profit now, rolling into new investment earlier, or waiting for prices to increase for a greater return.

Every producer will have a different opinion to this situation.
