Plex - 560 mil isk
Mining - 8 mil isk/hr

As you can see the first account takes a little over 36 hours of mining(work).

the 2nd account adds only 12 hours of additional mining(work) to cover both accounts. about 1/3rd the time.

The difference between having 9 accounts or 10 accounts is only 40 minutes more work per month to gain an additional 8mil isk per hour.

The difference between 10 accounts and 20 accounts is only 3 additional hours per month with a gain of 80 mil/hr on top of the already 80 mil.

Essentially after a certain point, it costs you almost nothing to open new accounts, while your isk/hr ratio continues to rise linearly.

edit: I'm working off an excel timesheet that I use to track my mining hours, 1*36 doesn't equal 560 mil as someone was kind enough to point out. This data assumes you have atleast 1 character paid with credit card.

STOP FOR ONE SECOND AND THINK. . .
How are you intending to run 20 clients at once efficently without ballsing up, missing a beat, locking the wrong roid, depleting too soon, depositing into the orca. . . Getting the orca to dump into the freighter... I can only assume this isn't in one belt so good luck.

70 hours for the first account.

Since your income is not exponential like you seem to think, it still takes 70 hours for every account you add.

1 account requires 1 PLEX
8 mill /hour * 70 = 560 (enough to PLEX)

2 Accounts require 2 PLEX

Your income is now 16 mill / hour, but your PLEX cost is now 1120.

Take a wild guess how many hours that will take.

If you can PLEX 1 account through mining you can PLEX how ever many you want to, but you still have to do 70 hours per account.

Any profits over and above 8 / hour over the duration of 70 hours, will be x # of accounts, if that was your point?

Regardless the growth is still linear.

The only players that I knew that ran 10 or 20 miners at once where all in null sec.
Why, simple cause high-sec roids aren't big enough to support all those accounts at once.

Although at one time I could see someone doing it for ice anywhere, but I would say that option has been removed.

So possible yes, will you see it in null most likely.

Well, my method is to pre-setup bookmarks for all my miners. Once I get set up, I just warp to the first point, my naming system is, "Mine 1", "Mine 2", "Mine 3", etc. and just alternate once I start hitting 10k units left.

One of the Miners is set to use a freighter. Once I get 3 cans sitting for each miner I run back to the station, collect the cans, go back to mining. 100% up time of mining links, not so many miners in a single belt = less competition by ones own self.
It also lets solo miners mine without affecting your overall performance.

The only main issue is trying to keep up with not wasting cycles, but really, you try doing it on 10+ accounts, it gets preeeeety damn hard yo.

I don't use my Orca to haul, since that is wasting my cycle timers. The time I lose by not having that cycle up really adds up.
This how my mining op looks like. I plan to get 3 more miners once I get more ram, and those 3 are already trained up.

If you run an account and have a decent PI toon on each slot you can fully fund that account and have ISK left over.
