Yeah this is strange. I have always heard / been told that EVE / CCP is so much more stable than it has been the past month or so.. im getting bummed because while I am still a newb <4 months in game> I enjoy it and can only hope I dont lose interest due to all the down time lately. I left my last MMO because of the constant downtime, glitches and failed fixes they had. What?Ugh

It has been troublesome of late, but like all things there will be some periods of difficulty and periods of smooth sailing. give yourself and eve some time and you'll see by and large it is superior to other MMOs in regard to many aspects of it. don't lose interest, eve is too full of aspects to discover, some you may never get in your lifetime of playing...

Remember guys, other gaming companies would have been charging us regularly for "map packs" and "expansions." But since CCP is so awesome I never had to pay for more than like 2 to 3 months. Playine the game earns me game time. Let's all remember this!

So we need to stop asking for extra freebies on top of a game that is already free if you are playing it right.

That's BS mate. Servers were lagging 3 hrs after DT this morning, and the claim then was nodes being reinforced, so it most certainly was reinforced or the reasons given this morning for the extreme lag were hog.

First: DDoS attacks are Distributed Denial of Service - this affects more than games, this affects any server that is targeted by a hacker with a slaved batch of computers on a peer to peer network - like limewire or bittorrent.

Second: The problem isn't CCP but Windows OS's and their constant release of shipshod browsers with vulnerabilities. Don't hate CCP for having a game run on the lousiest bug ridden, spamware and adware infested operating system on the planet. The next time you use a "free" piece of software that changes your browser search engine and you just "roll with it" and don't bother to erase the program, you're the problem.

Third: call your congressman to tell him to crack down on identity theft by people stealing your computer and running ADS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR MAILING LIST FOR VIAGRA OR ROLEX WATCHES. or use your email address as a front for some online dating service with a fake waman called Buffy. Your congressman needs to get off his lazy ass and do something constructive like jail people who steal your email address and computer.

CCP is doing a great job considering the idiots who want to steal other people's property for fun.
