DED Missile Runner

Started learning to probe and run some Combat sites. Had trained up a Tengu, but finding that now it's not admitted to these. Soooo, is the Cerberus my next best bet?

I am using a Navy Scythe until I can train up HAC, and it is doing ok although damage output is a bit low. I run low grade Halo's and sig/speed tank mostly.

Any other missile ship suggestions?

Ultimately want something I can take to low/null later on. Right now I am just roaming around HS. Don't really want to move up to BC/BS if I can keep from it.

I am not blitzing these, so completion speed is not a big factor. However, a bit more DPS than I am currently packing would be nice.

So Cerberus?

... also, from another thread, looks like T3's might be getting nerfed at some point in the near future - so this is part of my decision too.

Sacrilege or go for the caldari navy cruisers.
Sacrilege being indestructible.
Caldari navy cruisers are very versatile no range issues.

Edit: If you are low in SP it is hard to overlook the massive increase in applied DPS from the targeting and damaging range that comes with flying caldari.
That said I am not a caldari fanboy but medium and small sized missile systems are in a good spot for pve and despite the silly kinetic bonuses caldari do well at that.

Thanks for the input. While my original skills were focused primarily on small Minny ships, I retooled Caldari (missile) skills for the reasons you noted. I had not thought about the Sacrilege and will take a look a it.

The Cerb is only 12 days out and the Sac 31. Both look to be good choices.

Thanks

I use a blaster Harpy for DED 1-2/10.

Caracal Navy Issue for DED 3/10. Passive Shield tanked.

Both clear sites without any sort of problem.

Looking it over quickly.
Its a battle between caracal and navy caracal.
ITs range and 10 dronespace vs 1 extra launcher.
Tech1 caracal seems to come out as the winner as the fatter destroyer.
None of the navy ships seem to beat it, it will probably give you the fastest completion time.
Passive tank it, I think you can fit 1 or 2 heavy shield expanders.
That is assuming you want to stay with small weaponsyste

You should be able to do 4 and 5/10 with a cerb as long as you are flying against a race that is shooting therm/kin. EM might be more of an issue.

They have insane range (100k+) so you can just burn away and shoot from range. keep transversal and shoot frigs first. They also have a spare high slot for a probe launcher.

I have done sansha 5 and 6/10 with a munin and they are not really an issue other that a few of the overseers that have insane tank (I get a friend to tag along if I found those or bring in a DPS abso once I have clear everything out )
