Wishing to gauge interest levels on ME, PE, Invention and copying (acknowledging ME is the most desired now so it's covered off) as I have spare capacity available.

I run a research alliance and thought I'd chime in here.

Most ME slots in New Eden Research are offered out at around 12,000 to 15,000 ISK/hour, PE slots tend to go for 2,000 an hour. I can't speak to to copying or invention slots as these can only be offered to users within the same corp.

15,000 isk per hour x 24 hours per day x 30 days per month x 30 max ME slots per POS = 324,000,000 profit per POS per month.

28,800 fuel blocks per month = 429,091,200

So you're making negative 100M isk per month per POS offering this service?


To the OP. Look in the sell orders forum to see what current prices are on pre-researched blueprints are going for. Subtract the NPC price for the blueprint and then the extra cost is decided over the number of days the ME/PE research will take. Generally its 100M per month of research. The cost of research goes up as the length of time spent on the blueprint increases. For example an Orca with 6/1 will cost more isk/day then say a destroy wtih 30/10 isk/day.

Caldari Large tower can run 15 Mobile Labs giving:
45 ME slots
45 PE slots
15 Copy slots

Ignoring the copy, if you've got the characters (3 accounts with 3 chars per account all with 10 slots, giving you 90 available research slots.

ME @ 15,000 per hour x 24 per day, x 30 per month, x 45 slots = 486,000,000
PE @ 2,000 per hour x 24 per day, x 30 per month, x 45 slots = 64,800,000

Ignoring the copying since you'd need more characters, gives you a *potential* income of 550,800,000

28,800 Caldari fuel blocks = ~420 mil

With ME + PE max use you have a potential profit of 130 mil per month, but that's a very big *potential*
With ME alone you still have a potential profit of 66mil per month.

However this is assuming perfect conditions which you are extremely unlikely to achieve, will need more than 90 slots to get to since you need zero time between jobs so things are constantly running, and that you will have enough orders to keep you running.

Also, with 15 mobile labs, you're using all 7,500 of your CPU so you can only have a gun defence, no e-war etc, hardeners etc should you want to.


You could even go for the Hyasyoda Mobile Labs where you can fit 12 on the tower, giving you 48 ME & 48 PE but at 210mil each it's not worth it.
