Is there a fix coming down the path for this?

Facts:

Purchased Via Steam: PC - No issues
Mac - Steam client does not pass login credentials into eve client.

Since Steam users have no "username" (per say) there is no way to log in, as the launcher does not accept
Steam username/passwords.

Primary use for mac gaming on run... Numerous Steam Forum posts "claim" a patch is coming Next week, but heard nothing offical from CCP.

Any updates? Work Arounds for Us that made the mistake of purchasing via steam?
