The last time I checked SiSi the overlay didn't treat anomalies and signatures like they were brackets, as in they didn't appear at the edge of the screen to give you a clue as to which way you had to manipulate the camera. As a consequence I often found myself spinning the camera around 360 several times trying to locate the signatures in space.

Was this ever resolved or is this by design?

edit: Probe auto-recall isn't going anywhere now. If it wasn't pulled before release they're not going to pull it after newbies have gotten used to its behaviour.

Don't give them any ideas. At least let them brainstorm new and interesting reasons to ignore player concerns on their own... No need to shove words down their throats...

Can no longer reorder the columns in the probe scanner window, nor can I resize them. Could careless about how far it is from me and am more interested in what it is I'm about to warp to (resizing the window to read the sig type is problematic).

Not being able to use my onboard scanner at will is irritating. The discovery scanner is a joke.

Changing ships at an SMA breaks the scanner as noted in other forums. Having the chase down the sites on screen is a pain.

The ability to show filtered or ignored sigs with one click is a nice touch.

The radial menu is supposed to show common use things....

I'm not sure what's more common use for a secure container in space than opening it

Please include "Open Cargo" in the radial menu for secure containers, POCOs, etc

Thanks!

Menu from a button press is a terrible idea.

Used to be that I open close the scanner at press of a button.
Not anymore.

Now to open I have to select the page on the scanner window I want before it will open.
Completely pointless and time consuming when I can change the page from the window.

And if opened by mistake there's no clicking to close it on no.
Now I have to move mouse all way over to the window and right click menu to close it.

So frustrating.

Big step backward in GUI design.
For the love of god revoke this design and never go there again.

Also switching the scanner effect in space of is bugged and does not work all the time leaving an infuriating scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan scan distraction.

Ok found what causes the bug.

Log in in space and its impossible to switch off the sensor overlay.

Also on the button the scan goes around clockwise and in space its anticlockwise, top job you had a 50% chance of getting it right.

I think a bit more interaction with the icons on the screen would be useful. As of now the green diamonds can't be clicked on for focus by the camera. Where as I can click on any other object in space and the camera will focus on that object. An update to that would make the D-scan mechanics even across the board in my opinion.
