[[ FIX ]] Launcher Validating Client 0.0% Issue

Thank you all for the trouble shooting. Even though it appears that it might not have been a problem in the launcher per say then it also helped me find something on our end that was a bit weak in its implementation and improved it. :-)

All that being said, can you guys tell me the versions of Spybot S&D that you were running so that I can get in touch with the developer to make sure that we place nicely together in the future?

Friend of walking avatars, currently hibernating until he gets to open that door.

already deleted it, so can't say for sure, but irony it was installed 4 days ago, so latest one on their page, that would be 2.1 Free version

I have now removed spybot (although I will re-install and disable proxy setting). Client is now patching.

Sorry not sure which version of spybot I had. Only installed it last week though.

I stopped the SpyBot "Scanner Service", restarted the launcher and validation started immediately. Thanks!

This worked for me, plus I stopped the auto "Scanner Service" and the Launcher worked better and also did the Eve Repair.

Set up: W7 and Spybot v 2.1

On my XP the Spybot v.1.6.2 had no problems with the Launcher or the Update.

Thanks to everyone who took part in figuring this out. Been having the same problem on my laptop but not my desktop.

Oddly they both have spybot installed but I haven't had this problem with the desktop. Will check versions when I get home!

I am in the same boat, except I get 0% validating and it comes up to creating eve_online_551409-551409_win.patch 0%..then I get

The Server you are connecting to could not be reached.

Please check your internet settings and restart EVE: Online Launcher.

The URL that could not be reached was:
hppt://cdn1.eveonline.com/551409/RepairData_551409.dat

We have reports that Kaspersky causes this problem as well.
