New targeting animation?

How about turning off the way things are targeted.

Before this new update, while in a mission, you could target and shoot, while looking at the galaxy and stars.

Now, when you click on a target to fire, the camera makes you look at that target. That is OK, when the targets are far away, but I get dizzy when I’m targeting at an orbiting frigate. The camera follows the frigate, and around and around we go.

I can click on something else to avoid it, but I thought maybe the idea was to make things easier and cooler. Spinning isn’t cooler.

Anyway, can we get the ability to turn off this new feature too?

Thanks

Since Retribution I have run hundreds (and hundreds) of missions. This is the first time, ever, since I've played, that this has occured. I think I would have noticed it. (at my age, I can honestly say that maybe I turned it off before. If I did, I don't remember, as it would have been a long time ago.)

If something similiar was posted before I didn't see it, mea culpa.
