Is there a workaround to the titan bridge bug?

Specifically, when you try and bridge through a titian, and get the message about "this person is either not a member of your fleet or is not in your current solar system". It seems to pop up at random, but for me doesn't go away once it appears, even after leaving fleet and rejoining.

I suspect it was probably on the "known issues" page, but that link 404's now.
