me too! kinda. i'm also behind a 802.11 ac wireless network. the house connection is 160Mbit fiber optic...

bro it's not easy for me to say this, but I think it's your video card. mine was defective when I had these issues with retribution.

I know. EVE was the only game that had issues, and it started with retribution patch.

+1 for this... same issues.

I run :

Intel i7 980 Extreme 6 Cores
24GB RAM (Corsair)
1600W Power Supply
3x nVidia GeForce 680 GTX 4GB (Leadtek)
8x 1TB HDD 4 mirror raids (WD)

1x Samsung MD230x3 Screen (3x 23")
1x Samsung ME-B 65" Screen

I used to run EvE like a charm.
I still do. When multiboxing up to 4 or 6 toons only I will get ~200 FPS on each toon with everything maxed in EvE.
However, recently I am getting lockups, slowdowns and FPS drops to as low as <10FPS. mostly on sessions changes/undocks.

Never happened before.
All drivers up to date. Hardware isn't broken and all other games and software runs smooth as a child.

I disabled Eyefinity and ran the monitors separately and I get a weird pink flashing screen when I go fullscreen mode (alt+enter)

so apparenlty I can't use fullscreen mode. but just maximizing the client is ok with me. :-/

is there a difference between fullscreen and not (alt+enter)?

thesame deal here,

recently upgraded amd 6990 to gtx 780 sli, running 4 clients with loads of performance to spare on 4 displays.
Odyssey came and very poor performance was the result, I run all clients on fixed window mode and it ran perfectly.

I looked into the ssd theory but it all comes down to before patch solid play, after patch horrible.
Hopefully a fix will be available from ccp or nvidia.

I will try some beta or older drivers soon, and stick to just updating training for my characters in the meantime.

best of luck

Hi Gaming God,

I want to look into this today for you but first I need some information.

If you set all of your graphic settings to their lowest value but have the present internal set to immediate do you still experience the stutter?

Does the frame time stutter happen in all session change instances i.e. undocking, jumping between systems or will you get the stutter in a static scene i.e. sitting at a planet

Finally, it would be extremely helpful if you could give me your client logs by filing a in game bug report immediately after you experience performance issues. Including some basic information about the scene you are i.e. I just undocked from the station hangar and my FPS has dropped by half, a screenshot of the scene + the fps monitor and put "CCP Vertex" into the bug report title so I can easily identify it.

I have SLI GTX670's and I get stutter or freeze frame when I select to warp to a celestial. Shall I bug report with logs also? This has been happening ever since I upgraded to 600 series.

If you go in game, reproduce your issue and then press F12 you will see a 'report bug' button at the bottom of the EVE Help window. This bug report system will automatically collect all of the relevant logs.
