And ill bet this was less than 15 min earlier, so you were still suspect ie a valid target for everyone.

If it was a RvB fleet where he's fighting only war targets, then the repairing would not cause him to go suspect, as he's not shooting at LE timers, but war targets and he's in-corp. Don't say stupid ****.

This is not the first report I've seen of this. Usually one or two complaints tells me that somebody doesn't understand what happened. I've seen enough that I think there may be something to this.

To the lab!

I imagine it has something to do with this?

"Note: Although a pilot may have only one challenge request active at a time, it is possible for pilots to send successive duel requests in order to expand the limited engagement to include multiple pilots in the challenge."

Repeated, successive challenges in order to confuse a pilot and/or prevent specific actions (for instance, allowing someone to warp out their pod after losing a ship) is considered an exploit and will be dealt with by CCP (Source), as it falls under the same principle of chat spamming to cause lag or other issues for the player on the receiving end.

Arranging a duel between two characters does not change the rules about any third parties being able to attack either of the two characters involved in the duel. I'm going to guess and say that someone activated a kill right on you just as the duel started, thus making you a suspect and therefore a free target for anyone.

Very much a possibility, yes.

And it still follows the same limitations that chat spamming follows. I have had members of The Marmite Collective and Whores in Space spam me with duel requests, especially when it comes to me dueling in my Navy Osprey, or my Worm in order to get on the kill, or to fudge me up so their buddy can kill me (this happened once when it was my Worm against a Thorax of Whores's, but he still failed. Until recently, it was happening, but it seems Zeus or someone high up told people not to do it anymore as it has ended, though Marmite continues to do it.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

Baren, you clearly need help. Contact me in game so i can help you make some isk. I'll even get together with you and Monk and see if we can pinpoint exactly what happened. We may need to test some things out in space to get the final answer. So far all I see are guesses, which are clearly not helping address your questions.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

I think someone is mad...how the hell does this have anything to do with chaining duel invites to set up a gang bang? Start a new thread I'm sure we would all like a detailed account about how marmite and whores wronged you. You aren't the guy who just lost 8 hours of overtime to Vegas are you?
