Heya Guys...

I read with interest the dev blogs pre-oddessy...
I quote:

" Since this change will be bringing the usage of the four R64 minerals into much closer balance, we will also be adding new supplies of certain R64 minerals to existing moons all over New Eden, to even out the supply levels. To remove bias from the process, these new mineral locations will be selected programmatically and randomly. We will be sourcing the random seed for this script directly from you the players, at the Fanfest 2013 Resource Rebalance roundtable tomorrow. Make sure to attend for your once in a lifetime chance to put your personal touch on the EVE universe. To ensure the integrity of this process the generation of these mineral locations will be overseen by the CCP Internal Affairs Department.

At the same time as we seed these new minerals into moons, we will also be somewhat reducing the time required to complete a moon scan, to ensure that players can find the new minerals in a reasonable time period.
"

Okay, I managed to locate 1 of the new moons.... (a Thulium one) But seeing as I need to scan some 4000 moons now.. What happened to the rest of the promise in the dev blog?

All I can see is that I nee a new fekking probe launcher to launch survey probes and zero fekking changes to assist in moon scanning! CCP Get your thumg out of your arse and give what you promised!

CCP.. thanks for completely destroying my game time for the next month (The alliance members dont get how important a 100% correct scan is) while I scan the better part of 2 regions...

GIVE ME THE FEKKING MOON SCAN SHORT CUTS PROMISED YOU FEKKERS!

Yeah.. I love aligning to every moon we own and launching a probe...

I haven't done any moon scanning myself lately, been too busy killing the lazy ones that don't pay attention :)

But anyway, by "reduce the time to complete a moon scan", I'm pretty sure they just mean a shorter timer, not special shortcuts.

What special shortcuts would you need anyway? Align too moon, launch probe, wait. It's a simple process.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

somewhat reducing the time

I don't see how that could be read as: making it reasonable for one pilot to scan 4000 moons without going bonkers.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

just did one system and already asking in local to someone please kill me.......

why not just one probe that will do every freaking moon but has a 30 minute timer i dont care....anything then warping to zillion moons

ow and while we are at it

the moon scan panel i like to not only be able to select everything wich is does for the moon goo but it would also be nice when you copy(ctrl+c) it would also add the moon that its on.

Every time null gets too complacent CCP changes up the resources and bam, war. Do it every few patches and you have conflict that never ends because isk.

Things like that aren't suppose to be easy or quick. Prioritize and delegate, 1 person does not need to scan 4k moons in any short time frame.
