If it isn't the generalissimo himself. The man who has extracted untold billions on the backs of the fresh and uninitiated.

Please Flakeys, tell us more stories about how you have made billions from "invesments" only to leave the little man drowning in your wake. It's their fault for being "stupid" though, while you are so "smart"? That is how you justify your part in the corruption of entrenched investment scams, isn't it?

Elise is firmly committed to protecting stupid people from the investment market so that they still have some isk to take when he runs his next scam or fills the forum with lies for his next market manipulation attempt.

I had to go to eve-search to see what you were talking about but I wouldn't want to deny that Elise is a good scam-sniffer. She has a pretty decent history of success in that area. Unfortunately, the suspicious tendencies that help with exposing scammers also run the risk of deteriorating into paranoia, which may now be manifesting along with the early stages of megalomania and a messiah complex.

More likely, though, is that Elise knows another important magical law: 'That which I say three times is true'.

Or just "bet on stupid erry day" and let the weight of probability carry you.

Please answer this as it puzzles me for some time , when or who ****** over setra that you felt the need to start with a new char and be a sour little **** instead of the nice guy setra was.First time someone told me it was the same rl person i said :'''NO WAY''.

You must have been torn a new hole either in RL or ingame to get THAT butthurt ...

Look at him lash out in anger when the truth of his hypocrisy is exposed. I believe you've satisfactorily silenced any doubts as to your disrespect for the little guy on MD.

This is a pretty circuitous accusation and doesn't really hold up to the light of applied reason. Just another brazen example of attacking the messenger to silence his message, which threatens your power so.

I am merely sickened by the entrenched aristocracy propping up a corrupt and hypocritical system that enriches them while feeding off the new and uninitiated. Frankly, it disgusts me, and is reminiscent of so many power structures throughout human history where those at the top feed off those at the bottom while using the language of "goodness' and "justice" to keep themselves in power.

Disgusting.

I can't help but wonder if there was some kind of correlation between Setrak's own bond offering (and the complete lack of public funding it attracted despite his positive contributions to MD) and his turn towards an aggressively anti-investment position (although this appears to have developed over time - his posts at the start of this year were quite cynical but not overwhelmingly so). Unfortunately, I can't find the link to work out when that happened so it might not actually be in sequence at all.

In any case, I don't think Elise/Setrak has become quite as big a **** as his posts suggest. Plenty of what he writes is biting but still intended in a good-humoured way (I think he has spent too much time associating with Goons and other such reprobates over on Kugu). From what I can tell he is really engaged in an experiment into the value of aggressive shouting as a form of public propaganda and is trying to see if it is possible to talk the investment market into the ground (which it very well may be). I'll certainly be interested to see what effect his campaign has had when I get back from my break.

Big smile
I know how much the idea of feeding off the new and uninitiated pains you. The agonies you underwent in conducting your market manipulation and disinformation campaigns were palpable. I could literally feel the torture you underwent from a continent away. But it was all for the greater good, I know. The information you gathered whilst taking advantage of the weak and stupid forms the bedrock of your campaign to protect them, I'm sure.

Wait, I though it was because I am trying to scam the little guy myself? Or now it's some "experiment"? So many baseless accusations all in the same forum page even. As with all the best conspiracies, you just throw ludicrous suggestions at the wall, hoping one of them sticks.

How about the most obvious reason, which I've repeated again in this very thread, that I am sickened by the strong preying on the weak while falsely wearing the mantle of respectability and authority?

The time-line and circumstances for this little story doesn't add up at all, but please do continue. It is a great example for all to see how petty and spiteful the great MD Elites are when their hypocrisy is laid bare. When the cloak of falsehood is cast off, they are not the shining beacons of virtue they claim to be, just snarling greedy beasts.

So let me get this straight:

a) You don't have a problem with the strong preying on the weak and are willing to mislead and deceive people for your own profit whilst pretending to engage in good faith discussions (putting aside your little 'fun' scam the other week).

But

b) It genuinely disgusts you when people prey on the weak whilst wearing the mantle of respectability and authority.

So it's not the preying that you have a problem with, since you are party to it. Rather, it's the clothes that people wear whilst taking advantage of others that 'disgusts' you.

Forgive me if I take this as seriously as I would someone who said that they despised a serial killer for having a 90s haircut but didn't have a problem with the actual killing.

Really, you're going to literally interpret an obvious metaphor? You don' t think there is a difference between the poor boy who steals bread to feed his starving family and corrupt governments who extract everything they can from a populace while feigning to act in their interests?

Shameful.

I'm sorry that the fact that you only have 120bil makes you feel so inadequate as to think this is an apt distinction. Of course, you may just have a very very big family (or appetite).

My point is that there is a spectrum of wrong.

And those who prey on the new and uninitiated while wearing the cloak of respectability and authority are on the far end of it.

You can turn your nose at such "silly sentiments" if you like, and as the Great Highpriest of Corruption himself, for you to feel any differently would be shocking. However, I am sure many of the average forumgoers, whom I strive constantly to protect from your greedy grasping paws, do not feel the same way.

Last reply and then i'm done for good with you circus of idiotery.

Instead of spewing the same line you pull out of your arse how i am only loaning isk till point X after wich i let the suckers loose their isk.Show me one thread/loan , just one , where i invested isk into a person who then at any point in his eve time scammed on a loan/ipo/bond without me having isk tied into it.

You won't find any.

Now i'm done , lets use this new forum future and hide your posts.

Take care setra , was fun knowing you under that name.
