Is that really possible or did he/she get a bookmark from someone?
I'm not really saying it's my site but just wonder if it's possible for such a new player to use probes that can scan sites like data/relic sites.
It would be nice to be able to claim a site so the next person needs to do something criminal to get hold of the site ;)
Right now it's to easy for everyone to get to that kind of sites...
Probes from tutorials shouldn't be able to be used for real scanning, civilian analyzer can't be used so why don't probes get the same lock?

No.

LOL.

Nerfing High-sec is never the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'YES'.

In my first week in EVE I made 100 million isk through high sec radar and mag sites (mostly radar it must be said). This was of course before Odyssey when scanning was slightly harder.

Unless it was the hardest to scan site in null sec I wouldn't be suspicious at all. But, there is always the possibility he might be bait.

Edit: I believe sites disappear from the scanner once you hack the first container. The only way in after that would be to have already scanned it or to combat probe scan down your ship. That is the best way to secure sites from other folk.

Space-poor and space-stupid.

Bait or not, fly a recon or a cloaky T3 and warp to the site cloaked. IF he's actually doing the minigame get as many can as possible, should trigger someone to shoot you even in high-sec. If it's in low/null and it's a bait have a cyno fitted for black-ops bridging?

And, no sites pre Odyssey disapeared after you hacked/analyzed a can and warped off grid.

What space was this in? One week is plenty of time for them to get enough skills.
