Glass cannon tornados die if a velator's drone sneezes on it. Really, CCP weren't joking when they said that they "sacrifice tank" Twisted

cool vid but cant really see whats going on in 480p but got the jist of it at least, tracking looks like a ***** on the oracle, cant belive they removed that tracking bonus from it what were they thinking O_O

Yeah, the Oracle really wasn't hitting very well. It also didn't help that it was EM/therm damage vs. armor.

And sorry about the quality. I'll improve on it for next time. P

+1 content. -5 video quality.

I just barely made out the shape of the Tornado to confirm that it was indeed as advertised. The quality was so bad, however, that I quickly closed it and moved on.

Oh come on, you get a perfectly clear shot of the tornado at 00:23.

Using "expanded" instead of "fullscreen" with 480p seems to offer the best ratio. It's blurry, but do you really need to see the exact numbers of the damage notifications and how many bullets are left in my turrets?

sorry, but a maelstrom vs a tornado. maelstrom will win because of the huge buffer it has to its tank. The most ehp you can get off these ships is about 40k.

Depends. If the Tornado starts out at a long range, the Mael will easily slaughter it.

On the other hand, most Maels are active tanked with little tackle modules, so if the tornado gets close and kills its few drones, it can just orbit without being scratched until the mael eventually runs out of cap boosters and dies.

Or if it's a passive Mael, the tornado doesn't even need to wait for it to run out of cap boosters. I foresee epic carnage against fleets of 1400mm arty maels.
