Eve not using dedicated graphics card (gt555m) since odyssey patch

Hey,

So since the latest patch eve is not using my laptops dedicated graphics card. It's got the stupid optimus thing where it's supposed to (rarely does) choose which games require the dedicated card.

Usually I can fix this by going into the nvidia settings and forcing the application to use the nvidia card from there however since the patch this doesn't seem to work. I've tried to include every eve.exe file i can find in the game files including the launcher.

In the game menu where it has the drop down to select graphics card, it only shows the integrated intel one. Although this was also the case before the patch, it still used the dedicated card despite this.

I can tell it's only using the integrated one because an LED comes on when the nvidia card is in use and also there is a massive fps drop since the patch.

Any suggestions?

also having the same issue with my dell laptop. Did you find a fix for this?

The same is for me.

It is few months since I played last time and now Eve does not recognize my dedicated nvidia card.

Laptop: Asus N56VZ
Dedicated Graphic card: Nvidia 650M
Graphic Driver Version: 320.18
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64bit

Same issue here.

Thing is, i can get it to use the Nvidia card, but only in Fullscreen. It still says it's the HD4000, but switching between Fixed Window and Fullscreen is a difference of about 150 fps, so it's DEFINETLY not using the card in fixed mode.

Please look into this, running the game in fullscreen, unable to tab etc is rather **** :/

Try adding an exception for ExeFile.exe in the nVidia control panel...
