I thought local chat was going away in Oddyssey and I cant seem to find any final information about the topic. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

the interesting thing about that fake news story is that everyone who only heard rumors of it went "oh... k. about time i guess..."


take a hint CCP, people are welcome to fundamental changes and getting rid of free intel is one of those changes.

Its irony that that the best thing they could do in EvE they put up as an April fools. They know its a lame mechanic but too scared all the nullseccers would rage quit if they touch their instant safespot logoff EWS.

If you want no local you have to go to wormhole space for the moment sadly but I like to hope that CCP will eventualy remove local in all space.

No more free Intel would be a awesome thing.

Whatever your or my opinion on local being available, it will most likely kill a large portion of the eve subscription base, you really think ccp will take that risk?
