Hello again!

I am refinancing my three active loans into one.

The loans are:

20B @ 2.5% collateralised with lots of battlecruisers

30B @ 6% uncollateralised

10B @ 4% collateralised with lots of battlecruisers

I want to turn this into one 60B loan at 2%.

My collateral will be the 30B of battlecruisers from the two active loans plus 30B of Armageddons.

I will be taking out this loan with Blueprint Seller who has been an awesome help to me so far. This is part of the terms of the uncollateralised loan he gave me that I would refinance it into a collateralised loan.

Blue should be contacting Vaerah Vahrokha and I Like It to arrange repayments and collateral relase soon if he hasn't already done so. Thanks again to everyone who has helped me!

And finally the status report: http://imgur.com/h0VAnT1

Confirming all of the above.

I will send 500M to I LIKE IT as soon as I have the additional collateral. If VV contracts me the other collateral package for 10B I will accept that. I think that's everything that needs to be done.

300 Armageddons accepted, interest is due on the entire loan on the 6th July and you can forget about the partial interest payment on the 20B loan.

This may be a silly question, and a free bump in any case, but why would you acquire ships worth 60B to collateralize for a 60B loan? I mean couldn't you just not have bought them or sell them yourself and avoid having to pay interest to investors? :o

He believes that appreciation of the collateral + saved transaction costs on selling and rebuying later outweigh the interest payments.

If I had not taken out loans then I would have been able to build about 60B in stock. With the loans I have been able to build 145B in stock. The loans cost little next to the increase in value of the stock over time.

I have just repaid 15B of the loan, bringing it down to 45B and releasing more collateral for me to sell.

Blue now holds 50B of my Armageddons and BCs.

I have agreed to make the full interest payment of 1.2B this month and the payment will reduce to 900M next month.

Not trolling here just generally confused, if the ships are 60b value how did they count as collateral on the added 85b to make 145b risk? Is it just your trusted enough?

edit: phone always auto corrects isk

It is just me reading the wrong column on my spreadsheet. 60B was how much I made from mining barges, 86B is how much I had available when I started the battlecruiser tiericide.
