Interest Check: No Holds Barred Exhibition Matches!

Hello tournament people. We're working on an idea for exhibition matches to be played in between the rounds of the best of five finals, and one idea we really like is enabling you all to strut your stuff with an "anything goes" ultimate tournament match.

It would be an exhibition match, volunteer only with no prizes except for glory and screentime, and most importantly, with absolutely no ship, module or implant rules. You'd be able to bring 12 of absolutely anything you want, from rookie ships to titans and anything in between.

The basic arena rules would apply (please please fly a capital out of the arena) but with no points involved. The match would end when one side is dead or after 15 minutes. If you both bring 12 slowcats or something super boring like that we reserve the right to do whatever we want to TiDi to make things interesting.

We'd leave it up to teams to decide what they want to bring on their own or between themselves, and we would not enforce any agreements.

So, what do you all think? Anyone interested in the ultimate comparison of epeens with for pride and glory?

Also a thing to note, this is meant to be a showmatch for entertainment. If it is not entertaining it defeats the purpose of having the match Smile

This is on air bragging rights at their best.

Would love to see fight between, eg, old Bob folk and Goons, or Old NC folk vs NC dot, etc etc. Will be Epic!

SUPER DISHONOR ( with supers of course)
SUPER BORING (12 titan v 12 titan or 12 slowcat v 12 slowcat )
IN WHICH CASE CCP WILL DO SOMETHING TO THROW THE MATCH ONE WAY
WHICH MAKES VERY MAD

mm... besides 15 RR carriers and whole Capital fleets it could be fascinating watch..
how about a no caps rule i can't imagine them being interesting or fun to watch.

I seem to remember that during ATX the idea of putting traps and obstacles in the arena came up.

I think that could certainly be amusing for a showmatch.

Ok. I Will say hear and now. I Will take a Revenant into this match.

One catch. Somebody has to buy it for me. I don't have that kind of ISK to possibly lose Lol

Or do eve through the ages and revert various weapons and hulls (might be hard to do) but would be so very fun
