I kind of like the effect of the way they once did the Warp effect in Star Trek, where you seem to kind of stretch out thinner, much like i imagine you would do if you were passing into the event horizon of a black hole, and at the end of the warp, you stretch back in reverse...but I realize that this probably isn't doable with the limitations that we have.

What I would rather see, compared to what we now have, is stars whizzing by at fantastic speeds, while the star of the solar system you are jumping to gets bigger and bigger in the center of your screen, until you arrive in system at the size that it is normally. Could also show the star from the system you are jumping out of show smaller and smaller until it is just a point, based on how far you are away from it.

Guristas Murky Ruins relic site apparently still has a proximity-detonating floating debris that's still active and blowing **** up.
Is this intentional or was the site overlooked?

My ICE modules are disappearing, I have to reload the slots at random moments.

I've been using the new radial menu and have noticed two errors with it. I'm using Rclick as my radial menu button.


  1. When you open the menu before an option becomes available and hover the mouse over the option you want, the option doesn't become selected after it activates unless you move the mouse.

  2. Maybe I just have steady hands, but this has frequently caused me to miss starting an action.
    Example:

    • While still in warp, open the radial menu on an object and hover the mouse over 'align' and keep still.
    • after warp ends the 'align' panel becomes available, but not activated.
    • releasing the mouse at this point closes the menu without causing an align.
    • moving the mouse activates the panel as normal


  3. When close to a very large object with a small collision box, the radial menu makes "approach" available when the ship can only "align".

  4. I never really got why there's a difference between approach and align as they are identical ideas. Are they separate for technical reasons to do with the ship knowing to stop itself when arriving at off-grid objects?

    Anyway I was recently trying to fly to the center of a sun and found that while inside the sun (at 0km, but still hundreds of thousands of km from the actual center) the radial menu for the sun displays approach instead of align. This prevents me from using the radial menu to fly towards the center. If I use the keyboard align shortcut and click on the sun I can fly towards it as normal.

null sec forsakens vindi nerf

i find that it is not fair , a lot of us invested billions and risk them daily to get ticks with about 10-15 mils higher than a 700 million HAM tengu . I think the tracking enhancer nerf was more than enough. I hope ccp removes the frigates from forsakens

Looks like it is all the COSMOS plexes that are affected. They only seem to respawn once every 24 hours at DT, which is totally screwing up the whole purpose of the COSMOS plexes in the first place.

Also, it seems that the aforementioned COSMOS relic cans now mostly drops PI materials and very rarely any Sleeper Datasheet/parts (I am assuming Talocan and others are also affected) used in the whole range of COSMOS BPC.

It needs to be fixed or the whole COSMOS missions/storylines and associated BPC/storyline modules, as a game feature, are effectively dead...

Ive just had this problem for the very first time but think ive found out why, I was scanning earlier and closed the scanner whilst the scanner probe map screen was showing. I then closed the scanner probe map by pressing F10, not by the button on the scanner display. Then after docking, changing ships and undocking, i got the black screen.

Ive since tried to replicate this black screen, and seem to be able to do it at will by doing the above.

Hello,


My character La Passoire was able to fly the Nighthawk (Caldari Command Ship).
She is not able to fly it anymore.

I am missing the skills:

  1. Caldari Destroyer level III (Probably normal, just a level 3 destroyer skill so low training time)
  2. Armored Warfare V
  3. Information Warfare V
  4. Siege Warfare V
  5. Skirmish Warfare V


Is it intentional that [things] Warfare were not upgraded to level V if necessary?

I don't know if this issue/bug appeared with Odyssey but since it's the first time I notice it, I think it might be Odyssey related.

The more drones are in a group the more time it takes until the right click context menu opens/appears. The context menu of a group with just 1 drone opens faster than one with 5 drones in it. It takes about 1 second (sometimes maybe a bit more) until it opens the right click context menu.

Has anybody else this issue, too?


Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention that my machine is a PC using Windows XP.

I noticed in the probe scanner menu that we can see the anomalies sites .. etc .. when right click and press ignore nothing happens ... or sometimes the preset filtering dont work ...

dont know exactly whats the devs want to do but anyone can confirm that !?

The sign in on the game launcher should ideally allow account passwords to be pasted in..............I can't be the only one who is annoyed by having to type in very long random passwords multiple time?

Can somebody please look at this - security is obviously important I'd humbly suggest.

Black screen on undock

Bug report: 161197

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6750

Using dual monitors 2 clients
One screen is standard def with DVI
1 screen is HDMI

Happens on both clients and is very random

Happening close to 70% of undocks. DSCAN is my friend

    PI. This may have been going on for a while but when I install a harvesting program the program output drops WAY down. Sometimes as much as 50%. Is there a reason for this or is it a bug?

    it looks like the fleet window code latched onto the scanner overlay code somehow and went spasmsauce. I instantly relogged to fix it, but had to take this SS for proof of lolwtf.

    oh yea also please fix the new pilotless neutral bug, its worse than the old you dont have an alliance bug.

    Also getting complaints of FPS drops from corp members with nvidia cards with 560 and a 670, but not had any issues on my ATI 6970(and no i'm not an ATI fanboy i just alternate which brand i buy for sake of it)
