I accepted a duel and got podded. Then I accidentally undocked forgetting to upgrade a clone and got podded again. Now I only have 900k SP. How do I get back SP?

I know this might be the wrong but only answer: by skilling again. And you learned something about EVE and why it's great. Twisted

I have a sneaking suspicion…

How many SP did you have before?

You don't get it back. Always keep your clone updated :).

You have only two options;

1) Consume the still living brains and spinal fluids of orphaned infants. Thias will give your bodythe quick release energy it needs to regrow lost neuronic pathways.

2) Build a new clone from coat-hangers and spare human flesh. This one is trickier and needs more glue and string, but less struggling and crying.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

You wouldn't lose that much SP upon dying in non upgraded clone. Petition it.

I'm afraid you don't get them back, its the price you have to pay for choosing amarr as your race.

....I didn't think podding made you loose THAT MUCH SP. 4.1 mil?? For a 5 mil character? That doesn't sound right.

Troll

A 5mil SP amount doesn't drop back to 900.000 SP.

And then people still wonder why there are customers who are unhappy with CCP.

Yes, it matters, because it means you've either misunderstood what has happened, or you're not telling the full story. Hence my sneaking suspicion.

If you fly out with 5M SP in a 900k SP clone, you lose at most 205k SP from your highest-SP skill, and even then at most 50% of the SP in that one skill.

So no, you have not lost all your SP. You have lost your clone. This means that you now have an alpha clone and (hopefully) that the 900k SP you think you have is simply the limit of your clone. To fix this particular problem, upgrade to an Eta clone, which should cover your new total SP (a 6.1M SP limit).

Remember though that the pineal gland should NOT be consumed, as this will not result in the return of skill points, but may turn you into an Ebon.

I remember when you used to lose ALL your skillpoints down to the value of the clone you had, so 100mil SP character with a 900k clone would lose 99.1mil SP.

It caused a lot of people to just quit for being idiots, so CCP changed it :(

There has been rare situations in the past where the character sheet has displayed the wrong number of SP. A relog always fixed it, so try that first.

Otherwise if you're not trolling, you'll need to petition it.

There is always a bright side. At least you still have all your isk.

Speaking of, I'd love to make your day better. See my bio.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.
