Hi all,

I'm currently training up a new character whose sole purpose will be to make Isk for my main. I deviated from my initial goal to train all necessary skills to obtain battlecruiser V for the Odyssey expansion. However, I am now looking to get back into my original goal but due to Odyssey changes, I am completely lost as to what I should train (core to weapon to ship specific skills). I am intending to run anomalies and/or mission in null sec. All advice is appreciated.

At the moment:
Tengu - most versatile
Naga - good isk/training but very region dependent
T1 Battleship - viable after patch?

Thank you

It really depends on what part of null you are going to be ratting in. An Abaddon won't be as effective against Angels as a Maelstrom for example. T1 battleships are still perfectly viable ratting ships, some are just fit/flown a bit differently now.

A Tengu is pretty versatile although a sentry Dominix or cruise CNR might be a bit more versatile. It really depends on your skills and what rats you will be fighting.

for ratting in blue space, i second the cruise CNR. the problem with missions in 0.0 is that you are making yourself a target. you want a hull that can tank and dps down a lvl4 effectively, but it should also have decent align time and not be too expensive. a HAC, command ship or a T1 battleship fit this role best.

I should buy an Ishtar.
