FUN. I need to have some. All work and no play something something something. I'm only 22 and been in the pod barely a month and yet I already feel like I'm frittering away the best years of my life in customer service and watching little bars go from the left to the right. Work/life balance, you know.

So, once again I defer to the superior wisdom of the IGS (can't believe I just wrote that but anyway moving on) and ask the following questions:

1. I bought a small hauler's worth of booze but drinking by myself is dullsville and I don't want to drink with my crew because I don't want to get all buddy-buddy with the employees, it's not right. So where are the good bars.

2. I've heard slave fights are hilarious fun times. I want some of that action. Where are the best ones held.

3. Is it worth going to Amamake even though it's a dirty heathen filth system I'm told they do raves or something.

Ok go. Any other advice also welcome. And no "hey baby you just need to meet me I'll show you a good time" stuff from you guys (or girls), you creep me out and you're not getting any so shut up.

I would recommend tuning into my program when it comes back on the air. It leans Gallente so you might disagree with some of the things I say but in the end I try to give my viewers a good time, regardless of their beliefs.

In general, the only thing us Gallenteans know how to do for sure is have some fun. If you want to enjoy yourself, there's something in the Federation for everyone. There is a refined (if a bit artsy and snobby) culture here that Amarr visitors particularly enjoy. Or if you're looking for something different you could try one of the more...hedonistic venues...

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

Send me a link to your program when you do it again. I'm sure it's ridiculous but it might kill time and relax my eyes between watching bars go around in a circle on my HUD while other bars go left to right.

Refined sounds okay, I'm probably more of a snob than them anyway so it's cool, I can deal with it. Hedonistic venues, no. Just no.

Excellent. I will link you the next episode once it is uploaded onto Galnet.

As for the refined entertainment, I suggest looking around systems that have been in the Federation for a long time. Gallente Prime herself is always a good place to start. There are plenty of gallery's and theaters that demonstrate classical Gallente culture. Touring the homes of some of the old Gauron families is also a good choice.

I can't believe I got a reasonably useful and practical reply almost straight away. Not sure whether to feel happy or let down. Some moron comments something stupid to redress the balance in 3...2...1...

Go to Anslo's beach. Drink, swim, build sandcastles, work on your tan.

I don't do tans, or the outdoors in general. While as a general rule I think it's a good thing that surfaces of planets still exist, I don't really enjoy my time on them unless I'm inside a building with some form of climate-control.

Also I've heard that beach is quite popular amongst capsuleers and I really don't want to run into any of you people, especially not on a beach.

We would suggest visiting the Triple Helix.
A musical venue on the Crystal Boulevard in the city of Caille.
Given the Gallentean penchant for costume use, it is possible for a capsuleer to, in general, pass un-noticed.

Should you decide to visit this venue, we would also suggest trying both the 'Quantum Entanglement' and 'Ion Charge' beverages.

It is our hope that you find this information of use.

We Return.

I guess if you return there it must be good, right?

Why are all these places in Gallente space though.

Don't be daft. That's the Minmatar way to get in, that'd be going the long way for me. It'd make sense if I was coming from Rens, but who goes to Rens.

Well I did invite you to Eszur. Invitation is still there. When you come over do watch the sansha, they are terrible houseguests but they should be leaving in a week or so.

Is there really any nightlife in Eszur though.

Because we invented fun. It's a by-product of hundreds of generations of people having to turn to more and more odd behaviours in order to shock their parents. We iterate adolescent upheaval into a science.

Seriously, you can do a doctorate in Making Music Sound Like Noise to Older People. At this point, it's a bit of a refined, esoteric discipline, to be honest. After the Housedustrialorrorcoravelectrance Castratistep fiasco they've sort of lost direction.

Anyway, you should come out with me sometime. Or do what I do when I'm not partying, and be really bad at your job. That tends to liven things up.

Don't worry I've got the "really bad at my job" thing already cornered.

I wish Amarr space was a bit more happening. Just because I'm religious and all doesn't mean that I want to have no fun, ever.

Well, I bet that Makkal Hanaya chick throws a memorable tea party. She seems groovy. I'd even wear a dress.

There used to be a number of active 'hotspots' within the Empire, though to my knowledge most are either closed or no longer quite as active.

Mercy's Keep in particular was very popular for a few years while the Knighthood of the Merciful Crown (KotMC) was active, and there were a number of events held there, including a masquerade ball and a winter holiday party. Since KotMC has all but disbanded, however, I believe the doors have been shut.

There are a number of other establishments around the cluster that are popular capsuleer hangouts, but most are not in the Empire, and several of the most popular ones are in nullsec, like the Last Gate (Venal) and I-RED Lounge (Syndicate). So if you don't mind getting a ride through Interbus or flying out there yourself into nullsec, then those are both good.

I can't say much about it yet, but TYRIN also has had some plans in the works for a while now, and there may be some new options opening up in the near future.

Well **** you too.

Joke aside, you're gonna have problems avoiding capsuleers if you're asking us where to go for fun. Where we would suggest would be place we would go so uh...good luck avoiding people?

Then don't wear something revealing. Come in a sundress or something. Go explore the jungle. Why are you asking us for help if you don't even like us? You're condescending for no reason.
